I wasn’t expecting a VR game about slapping to be so oddly satisfying, but Slappy Board, managed to surprise me with how much fun a well-placed slan can be The idea is refreshingly simple: you step into themed scenarios, slap all you can like it's a slapping buffet without limits and explore combos, environmental interactions, and even build up to a “superslap” for that extra satisfying impact . All in all, it’s a lighthearted, well-crafted little VR experience—casual but never dull. Perfect for those moments when you just want to let off a little steam in a silly way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgR1sPc2dc414 found this helpful

Slapped that
This is the perfect game if you have had a stressful day at work or want to let off a bit of steam. Game is simple, slap as many people as you can to get the most amount of points. The physics are great in the game, if you catch the person well they will go flying. You don't even need to slap using your hands, there are many items to whack people with. I had so much fun, check out my video and see for yourself. https://youtu.be/tk2kNzJnfX0?si=JvDBKyrPzqANlnik
Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. Slappy Board is repetitive, barely interactive "anger relief" sandbox for the price of a fully fledged indie game. Gameplay is simple: you hit several NPCs and objects by slapping them, batting or throwing stuff. You have 1 minute to get a high score, and to do this you need to constantly switch up what you are hitting and with what item. It is a very basic premise and it gets old quickly. Nothing but windows is destructible and NPCs react to violence like they are inflatable balloon dogs. Visuals are bland but tolerable, while performance is quite bad: fps drops frequently on RX 6800 XT. At least there are a lot of graphic options. I honestly do not understand why games of this genre exist in VR. This medium is already very physical and engaging, a lot of games can be easily used for relief stress or anger: from B&S and Dragon Fist to even Beat Saber. --- Works on Reverb G2
I didn't really like this as first. Because of the art style. Too many bad games using these assets have made me automatically assume the worst. But the game isn't bad. There are other similar games like Smashing Time and Throw Anything which I feel both are better but they're similar not exactly the same. If you like either of those games this one kind of good too but a point below them. Check the prices too. I have a feeling the price on this is too high in comparison. Performance is kind of bad for me on a 3090 which is inexcusable with these graphics.
