About Smash N' Crash
Forget everything you learned in driving school. Speed limits? Stop signs? Turn signals? Here, the "rules" of the road are just suggestions. You've gotta win at all costs—whether it's through skill... or by sheer force.*
Vehicle and Weapons
Drive and customize vehicles inspired by real-world muscle cars, supercars, SUVs, and trucks—then arm them to the teeth with deadly weapons and brutal upgrades.** Build your perfect death machine and unleash chaos on the road.Open World
Don't you just hate when the neighbourhood watch won't stop yelling at you about your reckless driving? If they've got time to complain, then they've got time to dodge a heat-seeking missile—problem solved!* From farm fields to construction zones, rock quarries to busy harbours—tear across highways, dirt roads, and everything in between, leaving destruction in your wake.***Deathmatch
Twist some metal in arena-based battles where only the strongest survive. Speed might buy you time, but firepower is the only thing keeping you out of the scrapyard. Dodge missiles, unload on your enemies with everything you've got, and make sure you're the last car standing—because if you're not wrecking something, you're not trying hard enough.Pursuits
As a problematic fella, you've made quite a few enemies. The police, the mafia, the overzealous neighbourhood watch—they all want you off the road for good. You can run—dodging traffic, roadblocks, and gunfire—or you can stand your ground and turn your pursuers into scrap metal. Either way, somebody's getting wrecked.Races
The finish line isn't guaranteed—your opponents are just as ruthless as you. Outrun them, outgun them, and make sure the only thing crossing that finish line is you... or whatever's left of your ride.Singleplayer and Multiplayer
Tear up the roads solo or with up to 4 players in split-screen mode. Online multiplayer coming soon.*Do not attempt in real life**More vehicles and weapons coming in future updates***New locations will be added, with existing locations expanded upon in future updatesWhat Steam players say

Still a big no. This game is so broken, the updates are lies lol3 found this helpful
I really like what the dev has going on with this title. I dont prefer this more realistic style of driving for vehicular combat but i can get used to it with a little practice. Being the huge Twisted Metal fan that I am though I load it up everytime there is an update. At this point in time its clearly still early access but it has a lot of potential to be really fun especially with the possibility of online multiplayer. If you really like Twisted Metal I reccommend this game. I hope the dev keeps up with the updates. Thank you for trying to bring back my favorite genre of video games.2 found this helpful
We all know why we bought this, and that's dope. I've played a bunch of Twisted Metal, so my view will be comparing to that. Not gonna lie, I feel with some tweaks to the physics and car turning when holding still, this'll feel a lot like TM PS3's physics and handling which were pretty good. + AI is properly aggressive when it needs to be +Great blueprints for a car combat game Problems: -Where's the REMDIGI updater? -No rear fire -BUG: Arrow inputs with a controller for specials like freeze and warp can break and no longer activate. -If you're aiming for TM3 physics, you're on the money. The physics are too light with moon gravity feeling, making it frustrating and difficult to stay upright when at high speed and easily being tumbled when ramming or being rammed. -Unless this is a per DLC basis, the vehicles handle too realistically for a car combat game to be properly handled. TM is satisfying to play because cars act like they're hover cars, being able to make the car take insanely fast and sharp turns no matter the speed. -AI is pretty dumb, getting stuck in corners and sometimes being too skittish, maybe have them warp to a random spot when in a spot for too long. -TM4 DLC/…1 found this helpful
This game will probably get taken down if literally anyone sees that it's using licensed vehicle brands without permission. On an I9 and an RTX 3080 TI this game was running at single digit frames on "low" settings. This entire "game" seems like just a piece of software designed to install a mod that turns it into an (again, unlicensed) remake of one of the worst Twisted Metal games. The idea is fine, we need more games in this genre. The execution is terrible. I know the dev has been reading these reviews, so please. Do yourself a favor and focus less on using existing things without permission and more on making your game good. This is Steam, not Roblox.1 found this helpful
Fun game! Bought this for the TM4 DLC. Great job remastering it! A few things I want to mention about the TM portion: - The cars feel kind of clunky and slow to operate (the accelaration and reverse and even a little bit with the handling). It should feel like operating an RC car with guns, not real life vehicles. - The AI do this annoying 'hugging' effect where they'll box you in against the wall, sometimes leaving you in a situation where another car comes up and shoots you and you can't escape because the other AI is pinning you against said wall (have had this happen almost every level now) - Construction Yard has an issue where you have to come to a full halt when going to operate the crane, because if you''re still accelarating and go through the green emblem it'll immediately kick you out of crane view All in all, you're really onto something great. It at least FEELS like Twisted Metal and my nostalgia is fulfilled. I also love the added cars, especially ones from older Twisted Metal games. Great job.
The DLC is worth it alone!
