I've put around 10 hours into Smile Protocol so far, and I can honestly say it surprised me in a really good way. At first it looks like a fairly simple wave-based survival FPS, but once you actually start playing, you realize there's a lot more to keep you hooked. It has that dangerous "just one more run" feeling where you finish a run, unlock something new, mess around with your loadout, and suddenly another hour is gone. The gunplay is probably what I enjoy the most. Shooting feels satisfying, and once the waves start getting more intense the game becomes pretty chaotic in the best way. Early on you feel like you have everything under control, then a few waves later you're running around trying to reload while half the map is chasing you lol. I also really like the progression system. You're not just playing for a higher score every time. You earn coins and keys, open cases, collect skins and attachments, and slowly build up your collection. It gives you an actual reason to keep doing runs because there's always something else you want to unlock or try. The difficulty/customization options are another nice touch. Being able to change certain rules and make things harder for …

I honestly had more fun with this than I expected. The gunplay feels satisfying, and the game gets more intense as you progress through the waves. The weapons, equipment, cases, and skins give you a good reason to keep playing and improving. It’s still in Early Access, so there are definitely things that could be improved, but the core gameplay is already really enjoyable and has a lot of potential. With more maps, enemies, weapons, and content in future updates, I can see this becoming even better. Definitely worth giving a try if you enjoy FPS and survival games. 👍

Really enjoying the game so far. The shooting feels good and I like how quickly the game can go from being under control to complete chaos when more enemies start showing up. The progression is also a nice reason to keep playing. Getting keys, opening cases and seeing what skins you get makes finishing runs feel more rewarding. I hope they add a lot more skins, weapons and different enemy types as the game develops. There's obviously more content needed, but for an Early Access game the foundation is already fun. If the updates keep coming, I can easily see myself spending a lot more time with this one. 👍

Right now there are 3 different modes: Story, Wave, and Hostage Rescue. From what I understand, more modes and content are planned for future updates. If they add more fun and unique modes, new enemy types, and more variety in general, I can definitely see this being a game you can keep coming back to without getting bored. I also really like the case opening system. Earning rewards just by playing, opening cases, and collecting different skins gives you another reason to keep playing. I'd love to see even more skins and customization options added over time. For an Early Access game, the core gameplay is already really fun. I'm still playing and I'm looking forward to seeing what gets added in future updates. 👍

I saw a short clip of this game on Twitter earlier today and decided to give it a try since I've been pretty bored of CS2 lately. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but after playing for about an hour, I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. The gunplay feels really nice and satisfying, and fighting through the AI waves can get pretty intense. I also really like the progression outside of the matches. Earning keys, opening cases and slowly building up a collection of weapon skins and gloves gives me something to work towards and makes me want to keep playing. I've only played for around an hour so there's still a lot I haven't seen yet, but my first impression is definitely positive. The game is still in Early Access and obviously has room to grow, but considering it's being made by a solo developer, it's already pretty impressive. If you enjoy survival FPS games, collecting skins and opening cases, I'd say it's worth giving it a try. I'm definitely going to keep playing and see what else the game has to offer.

I've played for around 2.5 hours so far, so these are just my thoughts based on that time. I'm definitely going to keep playing. As you play, you can grind keys to open cases, and honestly, it's pretty fun. I really enjoy opening cases and building up my own collection. It actually makes me want to keep playing until I complete a full set. Compared to the other game modes, grinding feels a lot faster here, so it doesn't feel like a chore. The story mode has also been really good so far. I'm enjoying it a lot. I also really like how much you can customize the mode before starting a game. You can choose the difficulty, what type of game you want to play, and a bunch of other settings. It's surprisingly detailed and really well done. So far I'm having a great time with it, and I'm definitely going to keep playing and see how it goes. :D
