i love retro games like this, it saves the hassle of buying a windows XP computer just to play the classics, although i would like a feature to turn off the automatic card placement during the klondike mode, i like putting them down myself rather than it being done for me. also during one of the modes you cant put cards where you're allowed to put cards, but other than that i'm glad with this purchase2 found this helpful
Fun set of games to play when you want to kill time or want to have a challenge. There are no difficulty levels or hints for the card games so they can be difficult.2 found this helpful
Decent mix of some more well known card games and some more lesser known stuff (Accordion, Canfield, and Yukon were games I had never heard of before and ended up enjoying). Also some extra non-card casual games like Minesweeper, Pipe Dreams, etc. Pretty good time waster! I do wish there was a little bit more customizability (the deck and background options are pretty limited), but that's a very minor gripe1 found this helpful
This is my first review ever on the history of steam. And i am proud that it is this game. This is the definitive solitaire experience for PC since Microsoft solitaire before the ad takeover. It has many different versions of solitaire and some other games as well. (they just recently added Mahjong solitaire as of writing this review) It pains me to see just little reviews for this games so i decided to add my two cents. The devs are constantly updating and are very active and open to communication. Its been such a pleasure to find this gem. tldr: IF YOU LOVE SOLITAIRE,BUY THIS GAME TO FULFILL YOUR NEEDS.1 found this helpful
I have never encountered a more responsive developer! I reached out to DarkCove asking to add some accessibility options (larger card fonts) and not only did they get back to me, and update was pushed out days later with exactly what I had asked for. I bought this game so my grandfather and I could play all of our favorite card games in a simple, ad free, and easy way. It is very well priced, and is in my opinion the best way to play solitaire and similar games on a windows machine. The game looks great, has fantastic music, and contains all card based games I could think of playing. Thank you again DarkCove for making a game I know a lot of people have been looking for.1 found this helpful
I absolutely love this game. It's fun trying out all of the different card games and finding new ones to try. My only complaint is that I wish the tiles in Mahjong were different colours so they were easier to differentiate.
