About Soukh
You were once an upcoming star of the lucrative Bazhi Empire until the organization you worked for turned on you and sent you on exile. Now, you’re back where it all started: a crumbling village at the edge of the desert, your hometown. But a merchant with nothing to lose only has everything to gain.Soukh is a vibrant blend of shop management, light strategy, and quirky minigames, all set in a world inspired by the rich aesthetics of Middle Eastern and Asian cultures.
The Art of the Hustle
Forget "set it and forget it" pricing. In a real Soukh, the price is whatever you can talk the customer into paying.Simulating Soukhs in real life, you have to approach the customer instead of standing behind a cash counter, letting you engage with the customers in real time!- Active Haggling: Engage in fast-paced minigames to charm, pressure, or out-negotiate your customers.
- Crowd Control: Manage a chaotic market filled with impatient shoppers, silver-tongued rivals, and the occasional thief looking for a freebie.
- Market Mastery: Keep your shelves stocked and your eyes on the trends, or risk being left with a warehouse full of worthless stock.
Lead the Caravan
The riches of Lazaran won't come to you, you need allies to help you procure the best of the best.- Build Your Team: Recruit and upgrade a roster of Adventurers and Townsfolk. Promote them to Advanced Classes to survive the harsher corners of the world.
- Interactive Expeditions: Don't just watch a progress bar. Assist your team through unique challenges and skill-based minigames to secure legendary loot! (and maybe a few "stolen" goods).
- Village Evolution: Watch your tiny, deserted village transform into a bustling trade hub as you unlock new buildings and attract colorful allies.
- Hand-Crafted Beauty: Lose yourself in a world of stunning, hand-drawn visuals and a cast of dozens of unique, grumpy, and hilarious characters.

- Deep Progression: Upgrade your shop, your town, and your caravan roster.
- Skill-Based Selling: Use minigames to maximize profit on every single item.
- A Rich Narrative: Follow the Merchant's journey from disgraced exile to the King of the Bazaar.

It's recettear with minigames and an arabic theme. That's the core of the concept. It's basically note for note the same. Send adventurers out for loot, sell loot to customers, pay off your debts. The difference is that instead of fighting through the dungeon yourself you play minigames. So many minigames. There's minigames for haggling and minigames for helping the adventurers, and probably more minigames but I got tired of the game before I finished the starting quests. Because the minigames are trivial. They're simple little things you can solve easily and the only pressure is that time keeps ticking while you do them. Except when they don't. Like the rhythm adventurer minigame where the timer paused as soon as I pressed a button. And the whole game is unpolished. Quests end almost arbitrarily. Like it'll tell you to go meet someone and the quest completes when you're still ten feet away from them much less talk to them. Then it'll flash a quest complete banner in the direct center of the screen for just a smidge too long before giving you the next quest in the chain. There's at most a line of explanation for what you have to do for these too so it can be obtuse. I ended up ju…4 found this helpful
Great visuals and music! Has a lot of potential as a shop simulator, but needs some work before it comes out of early access.2 found this helpful
