When looking back on it. The whole learning curve is very overwhelming and the amount of tool tips, explanations were underwhelming. I was hoping the story mode would offer a great comprehensive explanation each mechanic, menu, and example on how to do a walk, the bars of progress reflect or mean. But there is nothing there dare I say the only tutorial I dare remember is during the dream intro sequence were the eye appears. I replayed that scene time and time again, because it felt I was missing something, there was no other dialog to click through just a giant skip button and at this point, the controls were a d to move, click to select part, and hold click and drag to navigate menus. With time constantly passing every second, random sympathy, nodes while, red doing different effects that were never explained forcing a very trial and error intro. I looked for and at any possible thing that can explain to me what was going on, because all I saw is my character lift up and down a bed elevator. Spiritual Successor to good ol SDT, with solid physics and customization Intro is janky but recently got patched, so you are not caught in QUAP jank hell, before the game even opens up. if you just wanna get into it without the "awakening" sequence, press CTRL+♥♥♥♥, Q+W, only in story mode. That Will give you access to the dev ui. A button in the dev ui also unlocks all costomisation and some other useful perks. Save in story mode and e-tree is saved into the Sandbox mode aswell. I've been following the game before it came on steam, and honestly stuck around, because dev is a cool dude who seems very passionate about his game. There's still plenty of jank (and personally i play these games as much for the jank and the weirdness, as i do for the adult content), and should that put you off, the sandbox mode is plenty of value on its own, while more is added to the game. the game has a good sense of humor, and is self aware about how over the top goonerific it is, and i appreciate the recognition of the absurdity of it all. the story mode is currently a bit rough, but i like it. personally i think its worth it right now, and i can't wait to see what it'll become.

UPDATED 7/14/2025 with version 0.8.1: With the new version comes a completely re-tuned entry to Story Mode. You still have to QWOP to victory for some ungodly reason, but it's much easier than before and you only have to do it once. (Before version 0.8.1, I rage quit because I came for the 2.5D simulated sexy time and not freaking QWOP.) With the above fixed, I decide to buy the game again and give it another go. As of 0.8.1, Story Mode is very bare bones. The house is navigable but you can't leave. The dialog options are sparse and you must repeat dialogues several times to level up your relationship to the point where you can have sex with the mistress of the house. The world map is gorgeous; and the background art and music have a nice, chill vibe that I found quite relaxing. All that said, there isn't much to the game yet besides the sex simulator. It's a kind of minigame for sex that is more than a simple point and click. Think guitar hero but for sex, and the interaction doesn't take you away from what you'd prefer to be looking at. It's the best and most refined part of the game, from what I've seen. There are still some bugs to encounter, but that's to be expected in ear…
