Players appreciate Space Bross's polished UI and creative blend of mechanics, but the game suffers from significant issues including a complete lack of tutorial or onboarding, leaving core systems and abilities unexplained, along with poorly balanced difficulty and limited enemy/turret variety that makes progression feel repetitive. Major concerns also include abandoned development with no updates for over a year, broken controller support without remapping options, and general bugs that give the impression of an unfinished product, with some players suspecting the developers engaged in a quic

Space Bross is an indie action game developed and published by Lavega Games that combines multiple gameplay styles into a chaotic and humorous space adventure. The game blends elements of roguelite progression, top-down shooting, and tower defense mechanics, creating an experience where strategic planning and fast reflexes must work together. Rather than focusing on a serious science-fiction narrative, Space Bross embraces a playful and somewhat absurd premise that gives the game a unique personality. Players step into the role of a retired astronaut who is unexpectedly pulled back into action after an alien invasion disrupts his quiet life and steals the one companion that still connects him to his past. The story centers on Achilles, a former astronaut who once worked for a secretive research organization before retiring to live peacefully on a farm. After the loss of his wife, his beloved chicken became a symbol of comfort and companionship in his otherwise lonely life. When mysterious alien forces abduct the chicken, Achilles decides to return to space in a desperate attempt to rescue it. This unusual motivation sets the tone for the entire adventure, presenting a lighthearted…

Devs seemed to have abandoned the game. No updates or replies to players for a year now. The terrible thing is that they got a ton of sales and after a lot of research verified...they vanished. A year of dead silence and no fixes or updates. The gamepad support issue with no remapping and aiming issues is still broken. No auto aim or auto attack options, bugs everywhere....the game is a total scam. Then I went deeper into the positive reviews. They are all bot accounts or people paid to leave positives via chat gpt type sites. Total scam game. Please be careful guys. Refunded. Sad thing is the devs promised they were fixing everything and love bombed the players till they made enough money from them. Then they vanished. A quick cash grab. Id be more than willing to rebuy the game and edit my review to positive if they get things fixed and start working with the community. I just dont know if after a year of lies, then another year of total silence and robbery......that these developers have it in them to act right.

I can't find fun in this game as it currently is. Firstly, there is no tutorial. I had no idea what was going on or what my abilities did and why I would use them. Still not sure why I needed to dash or use a magnet. Rage mode also didn't appear to be making any significant difference. You have ammo to worry about and reloading is required. There was no indication as to how much ammo I had remaining and no auditory cue that I even was reloading. The enemies dropped what looked liked gems but it wasn't explained what that did or what it was contributing to. I think it was XP, but again, there was no tutorial. Normal difficulty felt overwhelming and even when I could finally build a turret to defend my position, it had a health bar and could be destroyed. Which doesn't make for a great tower defence game. The cost in making one felt too expensive to me as by the time I was able to put down one of two available options (no I did not know what the real difference was other than one had missles) I was already being swarmed by enemies and couldn't pause the game to read what each turret did or strategize where I might place it.

First thing I noticed is the polished UI, it's pretty nice and feels alright. The cinematics etc are nice too. You can not select game mode without completing the story part, pretty annoying. The gameplay is a little bit unstable and repetitive. Not like in a long term, there are some skill trees etc that you can have your own strategies. But the issue is lack of monster types and turret types. Monsters are almost the same, just different sizes, different speed values etc. In a tower defence game, I believe it is required to have lots of variants in such concepts. I finished the first chapter after three attempts(wave system is not reliable, it exponentially increases the monster amount. No big deal). The second chapter had basically the same enemies but with different mesh and more bullet sponge. Also, who thought about enemies with small hitboxes would satisfy the players? That aint working. It's also lacks some QoL features, including respec for skill tree. I'm still giving positive on the review. Could turn out good if they developed it further.

This game is unfinished, and the controls aren't any good yet. I see potential, but it's not there yet. I know it's early access, but EA games should at least be playable.

Not bad, a bit short though. Only 3 planets so 3 places to defend, but it was decently fun. Grab it on sale for a few hours of fun.
