So Brotato is a game all about nuance, you might look at the cleaver and think it's not super interesting, what makes it different than the kinfe? Well the cleaver scales with your health, it gains base damage half off of melee and partially off of your max HP. The knife has a base 20% chance to crit and is cheap as hell, it is practical to rush down higher end knives which get better and better base crit and crit damage, until you're holding a knife that with no extra stats crits for 4x damage 50% of the time. That's what Brotato is, every single weapon in the game has something special about it, crossbows partially scale with range, SMGs might be a bit OP, laser guns gain QUADRUPLE bonus from ranged damage increases but fire really slow, revolvers have high damage but a reload every 6 shots. How much you enjoy Brotato depends on how much you look into and exploit these traits. For example the king class gets a bonus for high tier weapons, so what you can do is exploit the pistol being extremely common and cheap to ladder up to T4 pistols and get up to 150% attack speed and damage.
