Every ship is composed of multiple modules with important functions. Lose your drive, and the ship becomes a sitting duck. Lose your crew module, and the ship won't receive orders. UI needs a LOT of work. I'm not even sure how to advise the dev, but making it where right-click enables rotation around the selected object would be a good start. Trying to order my units was a real chore compared to the earlier Children of a Dead Earth. I love the concept, but the execution on the UI is currently so bad that I just don't have the time to invest in figuring it out. I'll keep checking in.2 found this helpful

Nause and head ache inducing camera controls Changing FOV for zooming in and out is already bad, mostly when its not fixed FOV presets like jumps from 70 to 90 to 120 and so on, even worse when due to the camera the perspective shifts so much, making moving the ships accross space terribly difficult even when using the special menu Also the spaceships for some reason rather than adjusting their trajectory to the new ordered one They instead fully brake the ship, wasting time manouvering into retrograde, burning until its a full stop, manouvering to the new order, and burning until its reached, just for you to need them to move 5 degrees further downwards making them take two hours just to change the course slightly when they could simply burn downwards to shift the trajectory In short; Make the zoom system not as nauseous please, and make the movement AI smarter
as of now this is a 1 to 1 version of the demo, hope it changes soon, the game is very promising
Played my first campaign and I cant wait for more, this game has a lot of promise
