Are you ready to take command?

Join now and take command of your very own starship and crew! Our intensive and comprehensive "Ship Captain in a Far Away and Forgotten Sector" course means you can be technically fit for duty... in as little as right now! The transport is ready!
As a Captain in Star Command:
- YOU command a crew that are required to heed your every beck and call.
- YOU command your very own starship... owned by us.
- YOU must carry every Star Command order, for the good of our alliances or trade deals, possibly both.
- YOU transform a gang of ragtag, uppity recruits into battle-hardened, ice-cold killer cadets.
- YOU recruit and promote your crew, and also keep them alive, once the mission has been accomplished.
- YOU retain all responsibility or liability incurred during the acts or acts of your unruly crew during or after your duty.

Customize and upgrade your (our) starship with cutting-edge, sometimes barely tested at-all, weapons and defensive systems. Fight in gigantic spaceship fleet battles. Destroy weak and unarmed enemy vessels. Repel nefarious teleporting invaders. Blow-up ancient derelict spacecraft with unknown treasures because your orders didn't explicitly say NOT to – you are the Captain, the decisions are yours!

Navigate the beauty, wonder and sheer terror of deep space – where even the tiniest decision can mean certain life or death for you and your entire crew. Bribe greedy space pirates, fend off bloodthirsty alien invaders, launch a torpedo blast at unruly traders, even engage in brutally primitive hand-to-hand combat in regrettably avoidable away missions where only one being can survive... all this and more!
Do you have what it takes? I mean, at such a fantastic bargain of \ – it's clearly a phenomenal deal any intelligent, attractive and discerning consumer would want to purchase now.Listen Cadet, Star Command isn't just for any old Zagnar or Flagboolonius – you need heart(s), guts, even a tail, but most of all you have to truly want it! And at \ you can finally prove your zeal.

It's bad. Don't believe the steam page, don't believe any feelings you may have for the original. It's bad. Even in the moments the gameplay isn't trash, its still a miserable experience halfway between unpolished and unambitious. What it does, it does poorly and what it doesn't, leaves it so far from the initial ideas presented that it can hardly been considered the same game it was during development.4 found this helpful
does not live up to the expectations set by the original. not by a long shot, I'm afraid3 found this helpful
Get this when it's on Sale. For less than $5, It's worth the price tag if you're into space games. It's like Space Haven meets FTL with a Star Trek and The Orville vibe. I highly recommend it. You can watch my Let's Play coverage series on YouTube to help you decide. https://youtu.be/gKA-jFUpYTU Playlist in the comments.1 found this helpful
Generally a lot of bugs, but I figured whatever, it's reasonably entertaining. Then I began to run into the gamebreaking bugs, the ones that prevent me from finishing missions. Then I uninstalled.1 found this helpful
I was a big fan of the original and feel left down by this sequel. Constant crashes, bugs, and a complicated interface make the game a hassle to play. This game has a lot of potential and I hope improvements are made.1 found this helpful
I loved the original and really wanted to like this game, but as is its still worse then the prequal on mobile. I love the concept but I doubt this game will ever really be enjoyable.1 found this helpful
