I *really* wanted to like this, but the combat is pretty lame and to make the hoverboard mechanic more fun (more speed) you have to constantly detach from it to farm resources to craft new components using a system that feels more complicated than it needs to be. I am begging games with cool movement mechanics to stop trying to make me detach from the cool movement mechanics.14 found this helpful
I bought this for less than 3 USD, and for that price I'd recommend it, it is a weak recommendation though. The open world traversal is fun and original, especially when you upgrade the hoverboard, it's fun to plan paths, adapt to what you find, boost and jump. The music is neat. Art direction is not ugly but a bit bland. Combat is basic. The story is inoffensive and close to non existent, main character doesn't talk and the girl you are trying to rescue; you mostly get to know through tapes, so that won't carry the experience. Still the game feels empty but not cynical, I think the devs cared about it. What MURDERS the fun factor are the puzzles, especially the puzzle dungeons, they have zero personality, feel like a chore, and given the open world nature of the game and poor design; I stumbled upon several I was lacking upgrades to finish, or I came with a solution the game didn't account for and wouldn't acknowledge. So I would have to realize that on my own, throw away all my progress, and hope the next puzzle would be doable with the tools I had (and not too boring/long) If said puzzles click with you I can see how this game could be a pretty great time. I'd recommend st…1 found this helpful
This game totally shocked me - a true standout gem of indie games. It's got it's rough edges, but it's extremely unique and ambitious. It's very strongly influenced by Breath of the Wild, with some features being pretty much identical. But the overworld traversal, on the hoverboard, is really, really fun, and alone does a good job to set it apart. I unlocked fast travel quickly, but honestly enjoyed getting from point A to B so much, that I would often skip it. There's also a wide range of cosmetics for your board that it's honestly a lot to unlock! The art style is maybe a bit rough around the edges - there's an intentional graphical effect that makes everything colored stylistically flat but kind of edge-less, and it's frankly a bit off-putting at first. But there's a lot of genuineness and charm to what the team obviously believed in, you can really feel their effort and the best care they were capable of. The character designs are inspired in the same way, being someone's specific taste and it's hard to not find it appealing as a result. The hoverboard skins are kickass, though! The story is fine, but the final set piece really impressed me. It felt like they were swinging f…
Muito bom sair com a prancha por aí, o jeito de manobrar é satisfatório. História é bem ok mas a parte de customização de peças achei um pouco confuso. Vale a pena
So far, this game has been very enjoyable. The art style is great. Game play is fluid and dynamic. Surfing over sand dunes with a cool hoverboard and doing sick tricks to build up boost is quite fun. Very worth picking up on sale if you are looking for something new to play.
Fluid and engaging gameplay that makes the first few hours fly by before you even realize it. The graphics are visually appealing and immersive, adding even more enjoyment to the overall experience. The storyline is interesting and does a great job of keeping your curiosity alive, constantly encouraging you to discover what happens next. One aspect I particularly enjoyed is the hoverboard traversal system: it's original, fun, and highly satisfying to use while exploring. Overall, it's an experience that manages to be both entertaining and engaging from start to finish.
