Bought it as part of the cat bundle and I enjoy Sudoku. The controls are clunky, adding a cat and removing it are a different process. Between the shadows and the movement of cars and pedestrians in the background it is hard to solve the puzzle and focus. Some of the cats are very similar looking, especially when the shadows are involved. It gave me a headache. The rotation of the board and the highlighting were interesting. It would be better if you could turn off the background effects and if the cats were distinguished by something other than color, like posture.2 found this helpful
"SudoKats" is a normal Sudoko game just with cats instead of numbers. I liked the style of the game but some of the cats looked a bit to alike. The music was great tho. The whole game took me around 1.3 hours to finish with all achievements, some of them are bugged but after a few levels the ones missing will pop up. I got the game for 0.79€ (it was on sale), i dont know if i would have bought it for the ful price tho. The game was fun. Try it out!2 found this helpful
love cats and sudoku so this was perfect! BUT im reluctantly recommending it.... there are no keyboard controls, switching to notes was super clunky, and the camera was constantly rotating very slowly so the board wouldn't ever stay straight which was so frustrating. also the achievements seem screwed up, as completing level 1 would give the level 2 completion achievement and so on.1 found this helpful
Just like the name its sudoku with cats, would recommend if you are a cat person and like sudoku
Causes immediate motion sickness for me. The camera bobs up and down as if you're breathing while looking down on the cats, while floating in the air. There is no way to turn this off. The background is also SUPER busy and distracting. These seem to be known issues for a while now and it seems like the dev isn't going to be fixing any of it, so pass on this one.
i wish there were an in-between option for reviews.. because yes, i recommend this game if you like sudoku, cats, and something to engage your brain.. because for that, great game. 100% i did enjoy myself. however. i do not recommend this game if you're also an achievement hunter. i am a 100% girlie. and the achievements on this game are broken, and from the looks of it, have been broken for a long time... and also from the looks of it, the creators do not care.. i emailed them over two weeks ago asking about the bugged achievements.. AND the fact that after you've finished the last puzzel, the game just infinite black loops of death. you can't even replay the game, when you launch it it is just a black screen until you end task.. and it seems THAT has been an issue for a long time too..... and they do not care. i got no email back in response. so here i am with my promised negative review. sorry? not sorry. **kissy face**
