This, yeah... It's a game that works. After a little while you get bored of it. Definitely a meme game.

Summer Sale is a strange, lightly satirical little experience from Ductape studio that takes a single joke and builds an entire “simulation” around it: the fantasy of buying every game you’ve ever wanted from a digital storefront without spending a cent. It embraces that premise with full sincerity, presenting players with a faux marketplace in which browsing, clicking, and adding titles to a virtual library becomes the entire point of play. From the moment you start, the game signals that it’s not here to challenge you or weave a narrative — it’s here to offer a playful riff on the culture of compulsive game collecting and the thrill of virtual bargain hunting. For a few minutes, this absurdity is genuinely entertaining, tapping into a universal gamer impulse: the desire to fill a library simply because you can. The gameplay revolves almost entirely around navigating the mock storefront. You scroll through lists of pretend games, select titles, and “purchase” them to build an ever-growing backlog. There are no deeper management systems, no currency to maintain, no time pressure, and no underlying mechanics hiding beneath the interface. The only real variety comes from the ability…

I mean, it's practically just a parody of how steam sometimes feels. Like the sale does make a lot of big name game cheaper, but there are tons of cheap games already out that are next to the big name stuff. You give it a try and it just sucks and sometimes doesn't even work. Similarly this game is cheap and is very low quality, honestly some stuff I can't tell if it was part of the game or if I actually broke it, if you wanna spend a dollar for an hour play at most just to goof around and "buy stuff" then sure. But I wouldn't really recommend buying the game, but it was alright
