About Sunset Routes
Sunset Routes is a simple seafaring rouge-lite game.
First, you need to select your destination, which determines what character you will get and the chance of getting it.

Then you have to select a character, which appears randomly depending on a variety of factors, including the destination itself, characters that can help you get a rare character, etc. The characters you own will determine how much cargo the ship can carry.

There are many kinds of interactions between characters, and you need to either manage your characters in the best way or kick them out from your ship in some way to make the ship carry more cargo.

The money you can earn depends on the amount and types of cargo in the ship and your next destination. Of course, your next destination also determines what cargo you'll be loading onto your ship.

There is a demand for a certain amount of money every 5 turns. How far you will go depends on how quickly and clearly you manage your characters and make a good combination out of them.

There will be multiple endings and achievements, and some of the choices you make during the voyage will affect your final ending.

Hope you enjoy this game.

A surprisingly engaging little roguelite that mixes resource management, crew building, and route planning into a simple but addictive gameplay loop. Every run feels like a balancing act between profit, survival, and taking risks, especially when the game starts throwing tougher resource demands at you. The presentation is pretty minimalist, but the clean interface and chill atmosphere make it easy to sink hours into without noticing. It can get repetitive after a while, but for the price, it’s a solid strategy roguelite with enough replay value to keep coming back.3 found this helpful
Simple and fun =)
Welcome to Sunset Routes
A strategic deckbuilding game where you play as the anime girl, captain Ann. The game is about, I guess, setting sail and making money to pay taxes. As you sail the world, you can also choose potential candidates to break the game with overpowered combinations that complement each other’s skills to make more money.

Minus/complain:
[olist]
There’s a bug that can occur when you drag and drop a character—it gets stuck, and you cannot pick it up again. My only solution is to save and then continue the game. It’s annoying, but whatever. [/olist]
Score:

Strategy: 8/10 — It’s fun because you can exploit the game with smart combinations of skills. Otherwise, it would be boring.
Character design/anime: 8.5/10 — Captain Ann and the other chibi character portraits look like they’re hand-drawn. Good job.
Price: 10/10 — Very cheap and a fantastic deal.
Gameplay: It took me 7 hours to reach 100% completion, with 40 total achievements. Some of them are painfully hard, while around 35 of them are easy.
Replayability: 7/10 — The game has multiple endings (six in total). You can also progress …
Gameplay is good enough as an idle deckbuilder, but there's nothing else to it. It has many bugs, both within the game and with the achievements. Achievements pop up only after you quit the game, and some of them don't pop up at all even if they pop up in the game. It's pretty weird. Also, sometimes characters wouldn't show up on the ship when I picked them. I think the money counter had some bugs too, but I'm not too sure on that. Some of the art was good, but a lot of it was very obviously ai generated, particularly for the endings, which makes me upset because Renka has a cute artstyle, so it's sad to see slop get in there. Between all the bugs and the inconsistency in art quality, I can't recommend this.
Simple but satisfying gameplay loop, big numbers be like. Plus it's literally 1 dollar
enjoyed being a taxi for anime girl assassin furries
