Awesome game. Really cool pirate vibes and all around fun atmosphere. Graphics are great as well. Combat is interesting and builds seem interesting. I look forward to further improve of the UI, I would love to see the amount of clicks required to get through a round of combat decrease significantly. More than anything I would like the row of actions to not cover a portion of the ships, because opening and closing that menu felt clunky as well. The merchant start felt especially tedious to me, but that could have been my own fault. It seemed optimal to spam the mercenary power to distract the enemy crew, but that felt really tedious after a while and caused fights to drag on. I'm really happy with this game and looking forward to an improved UI. Has a ton of potential! Good work team <3

Voting up because I love the concept and I think there's some really fun content so far, but I think the game has a lot of things that could be improved on. Thankfully it looks like the devs are still working on the game, so I hope they'll make these things a priority. The good: I have long thought that FTL would be better as a turn-based game, and here it is! You can enjoy building your ship's arsenal and using it precisely in turn-based combat. I haven't gotten very far yet, but I see a lot of potential for how you can build your ship. The story missions are also nice and entertaining. The not-so-good: There's a lot of crucial stuff that isn't explained very well. The prologue explains some stuff, but there's still a lot left. Like what all the different symbols on the map mean. They have names, but there's no explanation of what they do, what kind of events, dangers, and resources they each have. Also a lot of the combat mechanics. I just now learned that you can swap out cards in combat by looking at other reviews. And I still don't know what determines who gets the first turn each round, it seems like I move first at the start of each combat but then the enemy moves fir…

The only way I can describe this game is as a turn-based FTL: Faster Than Light set in the Age of Sail. I only bought this game during the 2026 Summer Sale, but it appears that the developers fixed all the major complaints from those who bought it during launch. The "deck system" was my biggest concern going in, but as implemented it works as a good way to quickly choose between different kinds of cannon shots/crew attacks/mana upgrades/etc between fights. This game has strong bones; for the price, there's enough content that I would be happy with my purchase even if the developers abandoned it. Well done!

Actions, even simple ones, take too many mouseclicks to execute. And very frustrating to have to press spacebar to uncover important parts of my ship and use 1 and 2 to swap upper and lower deck views.
