Mutiny (2026)

Mutiny is a short roguelite deckbuilder that I found pretty easy to understand but surprisingly enjoyable once I started getting into the card system. I am trying to reclaim my position as captain by fighting my own crew, and each battle has me building a deck and placing cards on the board to deal with the enemies in front of me. The pirate setting gives it a nice bit of personality, but the actual card combat is what kept me interested. The combat is simple at first, but there is more planning involved than I expected. I have to think about which cards I am using and where I am putting them, because positioning is part of how I deal with the enemies. I also get upgrades between rounds, which gives me a reason to think about how I want the deck to develop rather than just picking whatever looks strongest. Some enemies can also interfere with my cards, which makes later fights more interesting and stops everything from feeling exactly the same. I liked the progression quite a bit too. There are 25 different enemies to work through and higher tier cards that give me more options as I get further into the game. Extra cards can also be used as crafting materials, so getting somethin…
