✅ Card style roguelite gameplay ✅ Unique combat system where equipment and card both matters ✅ Several different classes to play with, each with their own playstyle ✅ Decent artsyle ✅ Variety of gamemode ❌ Lack of enemy variety ❌ Game is difficult to beat with the first story character. The rest were too easy ❌ Lack of build variety ❌ Food system felt completely unnecessary ❌ Replayability value is very low for a roguelite game

Sea Horizon is an excellent roguelite along the lines of Dicey Dungeons, except the skills use one of four symbols provided by the dice attached to your equipment. There's plenty of variety of equipment abilities, number and type of dice, and skills. There are also a few different modes attached, which is a nice touch. Eventually, the combat gets a bit repetitive as the enemy hit points tend toward the higher side, but it's a well thought out spin on some existing concepts and worth the price.

Boring and you can’t see who the enemies are attacking.. you can see that they will attack, but not who. So you block with all characters thinking they may be attacked. You waste a lot of block in this game.

https://youtu.be/onRI-16Qc5E Offering cards, dice, boardgame, and rogue-like mechanics is overly complex with no single element feeling as if it's intended be the strength of the game.

Its a fun game with a lot of unlocks, but after some time it becomes repetitive. At first the unlocking o new cards and new game modes is super cool but you can get a good 10-20 hours before you start playing the dreadful 'adventure' mode. where you travel around a map with unfair circumstances and weird situations where every event steals all stamina and/or health and you're stuck constantly playing catch up. It feels like it was setup like this on purpose, as if the adventure mode has prebaked, whatever option you choose you loose more than what is gained, baked into it. because during the quest or other playthroughs you gets some good stuff, some bad, but in that adventure mode its ALL bad, and i mean ALL. so after the 10-20 hours i got from the other game modes, i would consider this worth it, anything i do now is too painful and too unrewarding to want to go through that pain. Sea horizon i had fun, thanks for being awesome... up until the point you became annoying. Might visit later for nostalgia, but im done for now.

The music is great but the gameplay gets very repetitive fast. The world building is interesting as well seems like a mixture of EarthSea and the Giver universe. I think it is worth it on sale, you might get more fun out of it.
