Features
- MOBILITY TO MAKE YOU FEEL SUPER POWERED: Levels are playgrounds you can jump, shred, and bounce all over. Grind between rails. Body-surf on enemies. Use water jets, trampolines, poop fountains and pretty much anything to launch yourself heavenwards for huge air.

- MIGHTY WEAPONS TO KEEP THE BUFF AT BAY: Choose from a modest armory of killy toys, each with dual firing modes and unique functionality. From a trusty hammer that always makes its way back to you no matter how far you throw it, to a revolving potato cannon with backup basketball bombs.

- A WORLD OF POOP AND PURE IMAGINATION: Your battle against the buff takes place across 18 stages of strangeness. Levels are variously and hilariously themed, such as mushroom, street, cowboy, moonbase, mall, and sewage (don't fall in the brown stuff).

- HIGH SCORES FOR SELF-GRATIFICATION: Measure the success of your buff-battering performances by racking up ker-azy high scores. Build and keep your multiplier going for even higher scores. Pull on your big boy pants and put some thunder in your number.

- TOTALLY NUTS, OVER BUFFED BOSSES: Face off against a freakshow of good and pumped boss dudes. Topple a tower block with bulging biceps. Smack down a sword-wielding trashcan titan. Make mincemeat out of a belly-flopping mushroom king.

- BEAUTIFUL FOOD FOR YOUR EARS: Musical maestro Fredrik Rojas works his magic and serves up a magnificently muscular soundtrack, while voice-acting heavyweights Gianni Matragrano and Kevin Miller flex their vocal skills and give BAFTA worthy performances.

i’ll be coming back to this game when i actually have the motivation to get thru the tutorial got it for very cheap during the boomstock sale, so i’m just gonna play it when i’m bored and explore more stuff since you don’t unlock the other levels until after the tutorial. the artstyle is really unique though, and it feels like your character is on the moon like when he jumps he comes down slow and it’s just feels like anti-gravity kinda. the game is weird but fun you should buy it because why not.4 found this helpful
A Surfers FPS with almost great movement and short but wacky campaign Super Buff HD is one of the FPS games, specifically one that aims to be kinda like those surf maps you'd see in like in Source games. At least that's where I'm familiar with the idea of "Surf Maps". The year is 202020 and all the buff dudes, seemingly in existence, are now against society and YOU gotta stop them! The game makes ample use of making a varity of short, but typically dense enough levels to run and surf around in. with a smidge of FPS gameplay on top. It's main shortcomings with this scope is the movement occasionally just feels awful, in certain scenarios. Gameplay wise, Super Buff HD never has one set goal usually for it's levels, typically your objective is usually something different each up and/or updates during the level. Like one might be to get to the end, another you might need to collect times, fight a boss, or a variety of objectives. And with the constantly shifting level themes there's typically something new to enjoy. Now it's main selling point is the on foot movement. The movement is float-y on purpose and heavily momentum based as to obviously imitate the effect of surfing constan…1 found this helpful
Swole things come in small packages
Super Buff HD is the dumbest game I've ever played and I mean that in the best possible way! It's a sh*tpost game, but one that's fun, hilarious and with one of the hypest metal soundtracks I've heard since the new Dooms (seriously, buy the OST on Fredrik Rojas's bandcamp!) It's very short (2h~ ignoring easy achievement hunting) but it's very sweet and none of the game's shortcomings have any time to set in. The movement is extremely slippery and floaty, but I can tell it's that way on purpose and the levels are designed for it in mind - it's a "skate-surf-FPS" after all. It's also an Unreal game and by an indie so it's pretty unoptimized - some of the big fights were chugging pretty bad - thankfully enemies die fast enough and your weapons have enough crowd control for the FPS drops to not matter. Considering it's short length I'd recommend the game on a sale, but at the same time fast food burgers are only getting more stupid expensive, and this'll last you longer and won't make you un-swole.1 found this helpful

A fun fast-paced arena shooter. The different weapons were fun to switch between, new enemies are introduced fairly regularly, and the speeds you can reach are addicting.1 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/14B9Qd07pfU Simplistic level design is only made more obvious with an enemy palette that only charges towards the player.
