Super Lee World

I'm a big fan of playing Mario bootlegs and clones, it's a guilty pleasure of mine. So when I saw this game, I felt like.. yeah, this is something up my alley and definitely feels like it's something that Vinny from Vinesauce would play on a Sunday night during an Android game segment. Enough about that though, when I booted up the game, I was dissapointed. This is clearly a mobile game ported to Steam. Is that an issue? No, but the two graphics resolutions it offers are basically "crap" and "crappier". But graphics aren't everything right? Yeah, but my main complaint are the god awful controls. I tried using a xbox one controller and while it did work, the jumping was erratic, sometimes I jumped, sometimes I didn't, sometimes it was a short hop, sometimes a long one. It doesn't make sense. Holding onto items and releasing them is weird and sometimes doesn't work. Keyboard controls aren't great either, but more tolerable than controller. So honestly, as much as I love playing Mario bootlegs and clones alike, this is literally unplayable and is frustrating. I'll fix my review if the game gets improved. Otherwise, I'm gonna reccomend a hard no, unless you wanna taste true masochism…

Super Lee World is an unabashed 2D retro pixel ripoff of Super Mario World from Nintendo, and even seems to contain slightly defaced artwork from Nintendo's copyrighted game. While this is being given away for "free", it's still an unabashed example of copyright infringement (creating a derivative work without license or permission of the copyright holder), and it's also vastly inferior to the original game they're ripping off. Pretending this isn't just a test to see how far someone can go before Nintendo sues, it's very badly done, with some of the sprites being "muddy" deliberately as part of the poor way they were edited in a lame attempt to make them look like slightly different pallette swaps of the original game sprites. Resolution and controls are locked and can't be changed, so on its own merits, the game is garbage. I really hope Nintendo sues.

Музыкальное сопровождение идеально дополняет атмосферу игры, создавая запоминающиеся мелодии для каждого уровня. Есть и несколько интересных боссов, требующих тактического подхода и умения быстро реагировать на происходящее. В целом, 'Super Lee World' – отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет увлекательный и качественно сделанный платформер, способный подарить много часов положительных эмоций.
