Every 10,000 years the sun descends on Planet Blorb and the call of the Grand Arena rings out across all the land, beckoning its slimy denizens to battle! Countless slimes journey far and wide for a chance to be immortalized as true champions of technique to all slimekind!Super Slime Arena is a multiplayer party fighting game embracing equal parts accessibility and chaos. Every slime has a unique attack and every attack is a one-hit-KO. Every time your slime gets KO'd, you respawn as a different character. True mastery demands understanding of 32 slimes with unique qualities, and learning how their abilities interact in over a thousand possible match-ups!
Play on 12 unique stages in 5 different game modes. Dive in to the chaotic action of Shuffle mode, or carefully consider each matchup while picking and counter-picking slimes for Elimination mode. Explore the wilds of the Rainbow Jungle, ricochet off walls in Lucky Neko Pinball, or fight between high-speed trains at Country Slime Station. Enjoy handmade 16-bit pixel art backgrounds and an original retro-inspired soundtrack from over a dozen different artists!
Fight with all of your friends, and all of your controllers! Enter the arena using nearly any controller from retro to modern, fight sticks or flight sticks, plastic guitars and bongos! We don't put any limits on the number or type of controllers you can use (as long as they have enough inputs) and the game supports as many players as you have controllers for, both local and online*!

I should really stop buying games I will never play.. Sorry to say this but there is not a single reason [b]anyone[/b] would play this over the towerfall ascension. And you can get that game much MUCH cheaper than this one. Just let that sink in: there is official "local multiplayer versus" standalone game for 8 players on itch.io..... for 4$. The replay value is just infinite there. Or just buy the standard "4 player" game here on steam. To make this worse this game basically never goes on sale. Why? Dont ask me. But its not worth ~14 euro it asks for. Because entire game is a mini-game. Would I pay 3 euro for it? Maaaayyybe. Only because I like to collect local multiplayer games. This game rules, perfect party game to boot up at a local or over remote play with some friends. It really deserves/d more attention than it got. Only gripe I have is that some of the achievements don't unlock despite fulfilling the requirements, but that's just the completionist in me
This game has been completely and utterly abandoned. No online multiplayer, no CPU matches, only same system multiplayer.
