About SuperEpic: The Entertainment War
VIDEO GAMES ARE DEAD. SEND HELP.

Join a raccoon and a llama in their quest to save videogames as we know them! SuperEpic is a Metroidvania style action-adventure game filled with humour and satire. The gameplay is nonlinear and fast-paced, with exploration and combo-based combat being the weapon of choice against the evil RegnantCorp!

The year is 2084. After a series of mergers, buyouts and hostile takeovers, only one videogame development company is left in the world: RegnantCorp. A huge enterprise ran by a sounder of greedy piggies. All the fun in video games has been replaced with intrusive addiction algorithms used to control people’s minds and behaviour.
But not all of the world’s inhabitants are under the control of the evil corporation…
A rebellion of game enthusiasts have warded off the hoofed-grip of RegnantCorp, by replacing their software with classic games. Titles from past times, which have long been forbidden and are now praised as relics. Following a distress signal captured through an antiquated game console, Tan Tan and his valiant llama steed Ola prepare to take on RegnantCorp and confront the pigs...

The finest quality ingredients can be found in this Metroidvania! A large interconnected world to explore and unlock, a responsive customizable action-set for combat and an in-game economy-based upgrading system. Unlock and enhance weapons and abilities for both our courageous heroes, Tan Tan the Raccoon and Ola the Llama. Up to three weapons can be equipped simultaneously to provide a range of unique directional attacks. More powerful abilities are executed by inputting a specific sequence of keys... Just like the old days!

Note: The SuperEpic trailer shows one of our parody minigames that can be played on your smartphone. We understand not everybody has phones! (Or may prefer not to bring a phone into their gaming session!) Skipping the minigames will not hinder your progress in SuperEpic.

This game is ugly... Also the fist dialogs made me see where it was going Sorry but it's one of the most rancid way to protest and it way too "in your face" here. I don't want politics in my games and if it has it, try to merge it on the story, don't make it the whole game
SuperEpic: The Entertainment War is a bold and personality-driven Metroidvania developed and published by Undercoders that blends classic side-scrolling action with pointed satire aimed squarely at the modern games industry. Set in a dystopian future where a single mega-corporation has seized total control of entertainment and monetized every aspect of play, the game immediately establishes a tone that is humorous, defiant, and unapologetically self-aware. Rather than merely borrowing the structure of genre classics, it uses that framework as a vehicle for commentary, wrapping exploration and combat around a narrative that openly mocks corporate greed, exploitative monetization, and the erosion of creativity. Players take control of Tan Tan, a raccoon protagonist riding atop his loyal llama companion Ola, forming an unusual but charming duo that stands in sharp contrast to the sterile corporate world they seek to dismantle. The setting is built as a sprawling, interconnected complex owned by RegnantCorp, with areas themed around exaggerated corporate environments and entertainment clichés. Offices, production zones, and heavily guarded facilities double as platforming challenges a…
You're a raccoon riding an ostrich.... llama... horse-thing and bonk corpo-pigs on the melon, platforming your way to the top of the corporate ladder, I mean the very tip-top of the executive penthouse office, and tell the corpo-pig-overlord to stick it were the sun don't shine.
It's BORDERLINE good. It has great story and graphics however if you are going to do a 100% like I do, it is a torture, since the tells that game gives to make 100% is not clear alongside with how the controls work.(I literally discovered I can do an ability that I got from level 5 right before final bossfight because it was missing a button instruction). Also I don't believe game's not worth that much but it was made by a single dev so I'll let it slide for now.
