DLC Quest

[h2]A bit of a Meme idea but short and sweet[/h2] DLC Quest is a charming indie game and satirical platformer that will have you smile again and again. Its silly premise is basically one joke, that DLC is literally required for everything and to complete the game. It's a joke of course with quests masked as DLC. It's a very short game but if you like retro styled platformers with a bit of humor then you may enjoy the quest for DLC! The gameplay is pretty simple but that's not really the point. You're constantly unlocking ridiculous "DLC" that adds abilities like running and jumping, things you'd normally expect to already be unlocked in the game, which is where most of the humor comes from. The game knows exactly what it's making fun of and doesn't take itself seriously. It's more of a short comedic experience than a deep platformer, but it does what it sets out to do and doesn't overstay its welcome. I recommend giving it a play if you want something short, silly, and a little ridiculous. Just don't expect the DLC to be free... even though technically it is. It's a commentary game

I loved the theme of the game and I liked the design. The graphics were basic but the controls were snappy. It was still fun even though it is a short game. If you set your expectations, there are worse ways to spend your Sunday afternoon.

I appreciate what this game is trying to do, but it's extremely tedious and the satire gets so old.
