About Taiga

A team of prospector scientists are exploring far reaches of Russian taiga in search of mineral deposits. But what made them think they could decide the fate of these lands?

You play as Sergey, you have just joined the prospector team, and they are already carrying out local geology inspection. Next morning you were supposed to join in on the action, but.. The taiga has other plans for you and these men. Will you live through the ordeal?
Stay close to sources of light, and avoid staying the dark for too long.
In this wilderness even the hardest people start to give away.
And that is when the taiga takes you.
Consult your GPS navigator often, it would be foolish to think that you can make it out of this green maze by memory or instinct.

Features:

  • VR mode! Play with maximum immersion. (Currently supported headsets: Oculus
  • Controller support in-game!

Note:

The game is complete, but small tweaks and fixes may still come down the line. As well as graphical improvements.

It was a very rough ending and not what you expect. When I restarted the game, the game save file was gone. The things I liked about the game was the visuals, I think the forest map looks good and has a nice layout to it. The game is very atmospheric, with lots of creepy sounds and things to discover as you walk along. It's just a scary game with the right amount of darkness and light from your flashlight (you can set the brightness scale at the start of the game). The things I didn't like was just about everything else. I guess the biggest think is the bugs. The game is poorly optimized, lots of pop in, blurriness which is a lot worse when you die. There's even some pathing issues. The interactions are almos…
