Race through the charming countryside of Animalville as your favorite Teddy Floppy Ear character in this kart racer featuring ten distinctive Eastern European-inspired vehicles and five game modes across day and night tracks. Battle opponents with power-ups, customize your ride's appearance, and compete in split-screen multiplayer or solo championships to become the ultimate racing champion.

Game modes
SINGLE RACE: You just want to have a quickie? Choose a track, kart and a character, to instantly start the racing joy.
TIME ATTACK: In mood for a bigger challenge? Race against time or yourself in this classic mode.
COLLECTOR'S SLALOM: It's the best place to learn the tracks. The stars are placed on the optimum path so you can learn the curves and shortcuts. Finish the race before the time ends and collect as many stars lying on your way as you can.
RACING SEASON: Take part in a rally season. Compete on yet unlocked tracks and win a place on the podium to advance to higher and more difficult league.
FLOPPY CUP: Fight for a cup in a playoff 1 – on – 1 races. Defeat all your opponents to advance.

It's not terrible, but it's also not good enough compared with other free or paid car racing games out there. SuperTuxKart is also a somewhat better alternative if you're specifically looking for free, 100% offline and without any microtransactions. Other reviewers report issues with the split-screen, but it works without any issue from 1 race with 1 keyboard (shared by 2 people). I also didn't experience other technical issues with the native Linux version.1 found this helpful

Teddy Floppy Ear makes you take turns thoughtfully, plan your lines, and use power-ups carefully. This game is more thoughtful than most Triple-A kart racers.
