About The Amazing Fantastics: Issue 1

The Amazing Fantastics is a turn-based RPG saga that puts the player in the shoes of a hero who must assemble a team of super-powered allies to protect one of the most dangerous cities in the country.

This city, Utopia, is the poster child for crime and corruption and in defending it your heroes come face-to-face with criminal organizations, fiendish mutants, and even otherworldly deities. You'll see firsthand that Utopia is a living, breathing creature with tons of dark secrets visible only to those crazy enough to go looking for them.

Terrible game. It has a great look but just an awful game. The combat is simple. There is no character building or creating. Everything is prebuild for you. All you do is select the attack to use and there is not really that much meaningful choice. You would be better off reading a comic, you get about the same amount of decision making and choice but you get through the story without the boring game play. If you like any decision making, character building, strategy skip this. If you like auto battle games where you have to select the combat action and move around on a map go ahead a get it. This is a game for simpletons.

A C-lister with negative production value. - Typewriter effect (a debilitating text stutter favoured by the illiterate.) - Very cheap visuals (for characters, animations, backgrounds, comics, anything.) - Rotten controls (WASD-based, no alternatives.) - Miserable game mechanics. - No separation of music and speech volumes. - And so on.

Could use some work, but it is promising. Or that could be my love of superheroes talking. Hard to find stuff non-DC or Marvel.

Obviously a game in development, there is a ton of promise of the story and game play of this one. Love the character designs, looking forward to what comes next.
