Disclaimer: I helped playtest the first 3 levels of this game in august, was impressed that 5 more levels were added since then :) Pretty short and sweet game inspired by various backrooms levels, has about 8 levels as of now but apparently planed to be added more. Peaceful mode allows you to just explore the levels without any stress of getting destroyed. I would recommend giving it a shot and keeping it on your radar whenever it gets updated, dev was super kind and any suggestions i made when playtesting were implemented in a day which i was pleasantly surprised to see :D PS: if you are stuck at the start of a certain level after the pool, you can jump using space, i had to reset 10 times since i was having the big stupid. PSS: The level select gets locked again after you load a previous level and dont finish the game completely again, would love to see it stay unlocked after you beat the game for the first time. Also please add a mouse sensitivity option :)

The puzzles in this game suck, they are just a walking simulator and you just have to be lucky enough to walk to the right location. Boring.

This is one of those games where I wish Steam had a neutral rating, as whilst I didn't dislike this game, I did think it needs some major polish. Though, I will acknowledge that (according to the game's synopsis) this was by a solo teen dev - which is admirable. Plus, since the building blocks for a decent game are present, I will give a tentatively positive rating. I've enclosed a video I did at the end of the review, for anyone who wants to see what the game looks like when played. It's pretty standard Backrooms fare, this; you're chucked into various Backrooms levels, and have to explore your way out of them whilst avoiding dangerous entities. So it's definitely more of a monster-driven Backrooms experience, which those of you who prefer more of the creepy, atmospheric walking-sim type of Backrooms game may therefore not enjoy as much (depending on your tastes). Graphically, the game looks fine enough. Where I felt it falls down a bit is that in quite a few levels, the gameplay essentially turns into a bit of a tedious item hunt. Furthermore, certain mechanics could be buffed - the sprint mechanic, for instance, cannot be used for more than a few seconds before your character…

Standard exploration-based backrooms game. I appreciate the lack of entities. Daisy Bell in level fun is a nice touch. Sometimes difficult to find the items you need, but I suppose that's the point exploring and getting lost in the backrooms. Overall, it's one of the better ones I've played.

So far so good! You can play in a peaceful mode to explore without worry, or peaceful mode off to have the possibility of being chased and attacked (I heard the roar and got attacked from behind within about 5 minutes on my first run through, second run I avoided trouble.) The visuals are good and the audio, the hum of the lights in level 0 is spot on.

Not bad but not much game. Worth about an hour or so and then you're out of content. The parking garage was exceptionally good. Lots of places to explore and some fun to dodge enemies.
