now I know I need to be good for Christmas so the Cackler doesn't come after me

I kinda liked the other games from this dev, but this one wasn't it for me. First of all this one was extremly short and second it's more like a point & click game, not a walking sim. It's also way too easy in his attept of Five Nights at Freddy's.

The Christmas Cackler is a short first-person Christmas-themed comedic horror adventure that puts you in the shoes of little Jimmy on Christmas Eve, trying to finish drawing his mother’s present before an unpredictable entity makes itself known. The game mixes holiday imagery with dark humor and absurd situations, balancing a quirky tone with light narrative beats as you juggle finishing your artwork and staying aware of the titular Christmas Cackler’s antics. — The Ember Archives https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45601239/
THE CHRISTMAS CACKLER
Yet another MGG goofy title and here, you are a little Jimmy, trying to make a drawing to his mom during the night, trying to get his head focused on something else beside the creepy story the mom told him. No technical issues nor bugs encountered. UltraWide monitor support is iffy and the game plays best in 16:9 resolution. This must be the shortest game from MGG and can be done in 30 minutes. I don't find it very good but it is not the worst from the MGG collection. Like I mentioned on the GORDY review, if you already have MGG collection, you might as well give it a shot since theses games are very short and can be entertaining too!
