The Curse of Zigoris

The Curse of Zigoris is good game if you like platformer games. This game has very bad gamepad button bound and you can not map them so your gameplay is seriously affected. It sometimes also not unlock achievement of stage despite of you have already completed it. I have faced this problem for stage two achievement and I have to backup my save game first and have to start new game to got this achievement. So I have do some research and found this game is made in "Multimedia fusion studio" which contain only single exe file and it does not require steam to play it. You can play game directly run exe file without open steam so I think if it sometime missed communication with steam then your achievement can not be unlocked. Overall hard and fun platformer game if you don't mind horrible controller mapping.

Very slow, bad controls, too much grinding. You cannot avoid half of the attacks, or the level is in a way that it is impossible to not grind to not die a million times before cursing at the controls and the game. Quite cute but everything else is making it annoying.

Game looked fun. but the game does not allow rebinding of controller. If you try and trick the game by changing you controller configuration in the steam menu it slows the game down for some reason. If you try and play as is with controller you will find that the button prompt does not match what you actually have to press in order to say attack jump an so on. Also when using controller after tricking the rebinding the game character does not move properly such as not jumping properly ( meaning when you do to jump instead of making the jump or garbing an edge you fall short of completion.) The game looked like it would be fun but with the controller issue and the fact that the DEV does not care enogh to fix the issue I would have to say stay away from this game. ( Unless you are good with playing using key & mouse ). example of DEV not careing look in disscusion about controller support the DEV says it is full controller support and being able to re-bind controller buttons is something else and does not fall under FULL CONTROLLER SUPPORT. ( which to me says "do not care give me your money and piss off" ) as is 1 out of 10 the worst rating i have ever given

Straight up bad, poorly readable graphics, bland colour palette, horrible level design, terrible hit registration, abysmal platforming, gamepad isn’t always connecting, and most of all – incredibly uncomfortable controls, that you cannot reconfigure: your hit button is your jump button, your jump button is your slide button, and your slide button is your hit button. I should have refunded this piece of code, but alas. Highly don’t recommend. It’s bad even as a first time attempt at game development. I would say that even if The Curse of Zigoris was free, it would still be not worth it to play. 3/10, avoid.

A pretty good platformer. You can level up your character as you play. Nice pixel art and the music is great, I think the latter is the best part. 6
