The Cursed Tower of Lust

The censorship ruins the game, the sound effects are so bad it would be comical if they weren't so irritating, there's no option to skip scenes/dialog with the merchant which gets old quick, the animations are pretty bad, & the game locks up so save often. There are some nice ideas here, a reasonable amount of variety & quantity of H-content, but the problems I've mentioned make this game neither fun to play nor enjoyable on an H-content level. I took the time to finish the game (I'm a completionist) but there was no payoff, just annoyance.

i have played this way more than it deserves to have been played the game is easy... if you stack 2 avoidance items and intentionally hit at least 1 trap. most of the enemies in the game will just go for H attacks. most of the time i have spent on the game is admittedly just playing around in the gallery the game is a bit buggy infact there are like 4 enemies in the game that if they defeat you the game will just go into a broken loop because apparently some assets namely frames in an animation in the game are missing. which the game picks up and will go to a grey screen with a button that says retry. it just skips over that frame and continues the animation. (before you ask no its not actual animation.) its just the passive up and down movement of stationary images. these bugs are a bit game breaking because they make you close the game and for the next reason that is a problem the game doesn't auto save anywhere. you have to manually save any time you'd want to exit the game. censorship its for the most part mosaic pixelation im not sure where else to put this but im happy the game right out the gate gives you an item to equip that turns off futa. call me a hater. i d…

The first floor is a bit hard but after that it gets pretty easy quickly. If you don't lose on purpose you can beat the game in about 2.5 hours. After completing the game it unlocks a pretty big gallery mode so you can watch all the scenes for both heroines easily and that really is the selling point of this game. Buy on sale.

i won, late review

This game gets a lot of hate it seems for being too similar to another roguelite dungeon-run ero-game (mentioned in othr revews) but honestly I don't see why. CGs are procedural defeat by health or a progressive grab pull-in that an usually be resisted. Progression sticks with you and makes the game easier as you acquire items. Only gripe from me is that there's no gallery and some of the special bosses have to be RNG-found to re-experience if you like their defeat sequences. The negative status effects interact a bit with most scenes too which is neat. Works great on Steam Deck besides occasionally freezing and needing to be restarted. Save often. Buy on sale though, price is a bit up there...
