Maybe this is a specific issue, maybe not, but at least for me right now, the game is LITERALLY unplayable. Starting it launches a black screen that closes the game a few seconds later. I have tried several different things that worked in other games, and nothing changes. Check the discussions tab and you'll find 2 or 3 guys complaining about this and no response.

7/10 Unfortunately it seems abandoned as of now so I will not recommend for the time being. Unique art, unique gameplay. Items are quite basic but vary in utility. Very good potential to be a great game with a few bug fixes and improvements. While this game isn't too easy, it's not as hard as some people make it out to be. Definitely doesn't have much casual appeal. No... it does not require "nanosecond timing". Your shield MUST be fully up to block. So learning to time it perfectly consistently means you hold it slightly EARLY. It's mostly based on memory. Which you can see as a pro or con. Once you learn the timing, you shouldn't get hit unless you are being impatient. A lot of the enemies take advantage of you either not knowing their patterns or being impatient. Many require you to build up stamina slowly and not just spam attack. Health upgrades at campfire also increase the amount of health you get from harvesting enemies. There are also items like the goblin poster that increase your health received by large amounts. And yeah... I beat the game or at least the 2 stages it has in early access. Though the second area (especially the 2nd boss) is arguably easier than the…

Got the the forest area, got to the boss there, had a good run going, then the game crashed as I entered the boss map, booted it back up, starting at square 1, not even from the start of the forest, and this isn't the first time it has crashed, it just crashes at random times when entering places so a rouge like game where if you die you start at world 1 level 1, it's just not worth it.

I wished there was a save option. Or at least keep the upgrades after dying. Would not mind losing all my equipment and gold, would love to have the upgrades after restarting.

First off, there's no way, this game's getting off of development hell! The quick time event (QTE) perfect block, sure it's required in the second floor. Can be ignored if you put three points in stamina from those campfires completely ignore at level 5. Every creature's attack patterns are at least have a 3 second show off. The healing minigame could be a little bit more generous. The worst thing, it's a is the gallery glitch? At least 2 and the glossaries for both dungeons. It's missing. Even after using it multiple times Oh yeah, press W to start not A
