The Dreamcatcher is a really charming little platforming adventure, and I liked it almost immediately. I play as Kit, the Dreamcatcher, while exploring a collection of floating islands filled with small tasks, characters and things to discover. The hand drawn presentation gives the whole experience a warm storybook feeling that made me want to see what was waiting on the next island. The platforming itself is simple, but it feels pleasant to move around the floating environments. I enjoyed jumping between areas and figuring out the best way to reach different parts of the islands. The game also mixes in some light resource gathering, which gives me something else to do between platforming sections without taking attention away from exploration. I also liked the directional combat. It is not especially deep, but it gives the adventure a little more energy and makes some of the environments feel less passive. There are also a few repairs that need to be made around the islands, so exploration is not just about reaching the next platform. Finally getting to play this game after watching WorkingOrders make it in real time was such a joy!!! I cannot wait to see whats next for this young Indy dev.

A good start, I'm curious to see where it will go

It's simple and i can tell it has been made with much effort. Style is simple and the music is soft. It's not something i personally would play but i can see people into this genre will have a lot of fun with this game.
