TBH leaving a negative review feels almost unfair, but the review score is definitely too positive rn imo. This is not a bad game, but certainly is not a good one either. Gameplay is extremely simple and slightly clunky. The rng aspect of this "roguelite" is so limited that the only thing that changes is the map layout, there are really no random encounters or changing objectives or anything. Oh and the chest rewards I guess, though these don't matter that much either way. Less rng is not bad, but just don't expect a lot of replayability or unique scenario's. The writing is very simple and the English seems bad at some points. I don't typically get annoyed by bad English, but if you do, stay away from this game. In the timespan that I played you can easily 100% it, although I didn't exactly lock in for this one. It didn't seem worth the effort. You get what you pay for.3 found this helpful
+Looks decently nice +Some player choice -...but not enough. Feels very simple. -Full screen issues - you cannot set it if you get alt-tabbed for whatever reason without quitting your run1 found this helpful
Es un juego de acción sencillo, pero bastante entretenido. Pagar el precio completo es una locura, pero está rebajado a menos de 1 € con frecuencia, a ese precio si vale la pena.
Fun Hack and Slash game. Causal Difficulty with rapid skill strength up. Story is background of no consequence, just enjoying killing monsters and leveling up.
A short yet entertaining game. I think its price is a little high for being a two to four hour game depending on how long you play it. Combat feels slow but you get used to it. I like the character art a lot, adds charm to the game. And for such a short game it has a lot of good lore building. Combat can get repetitive at first but once you level up, the game becomes a lot faster.

It presents itself with a top-down pixel-art style and a fast-paced combat system that emphasizes reflex, timing, and adaptability. The premise is simple: you awaken in a mysterious world filled with monsters and strange, hostile constructs, with only one goal—to fight your way through multiple deadly environments, uncover the truth of how you arrived there, and defeat the bosses that guard the way out. From its first moments, the game evokes an atmosphere of darkness and mystery, immersing you in a grim fantasy world that is equal parts brutal and alluring. At its core, The Excrawlers revolves around a tightly designed gameplay loop built on exploration, combat, and progression. Each run takes you through a series of interconnected dungeons filled with enemies, traps, and loot. The top-down perspective allows for clear visibility of your surroundings, which is essential since quick reactions are key to survival. The combat mechanics ar…
