The Faceless Man

It's a solid game. Borrows quite a bit from the Slenderman games such as the need to find 8 notes. Graphically it looks nice and runs well. Didn't encounter any stutters etc. The price tag doesn't break the bank as much either. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/uLaivQU8LZ0

like the other reviews say, its a clone of slender: the eight pages. if you want more slender (which i did) this is worth your money. my only negative impression is that the running animation is atrocious.

So, fun fact about the character of Slender Man: he is copyrighted, and naturally, Victor Surge (aka Eric Knudsen) is the copyright holder. Seeing as how he is not listed anywhere in the credits, I can only assume that the developers did not obtain permission to use the character in their game, hence them constantly referring to the titular antagonist as "The Faceless Man". Other than that, it's just another Slender: The Eight Pages clone with the same jumpscare sound effect, a different map, a couple of interactive cutscenes, and for whatever reason, Blair Witch-style stick figures littered around the map. It does not earn the 6 dollar price tag at all, in my opinion, especially not with the two alternate modes, "Lost Memories" and "Hellmode". Slender Clone part is fine if you added something extra to it. It's rather a very lazy game for that offered price

This is honestly just another basic Slender man game. I thought it was alright but it would have been a lot better if there was more story to it especially after seeing the gallery.

This creates tension, though it can feel a bit predictable since the monster teleports instead of chasing, and it’s just Slenderman throughout—no surprises with the faceless man. The atmosphere is solid, especially in Hell Mode, with some genuinely eerie moments (the water tower jump scare stands out more than Slenderman himself!). However, the game lacks depth, with minimal story or post-mode content, which might leave players wanting more narrative or extended gameplay. Good for a quick, spooky session, but don’t expect a long or complex horror experience.
