You have awakened within the Land of the Fallen; a desolate realm of purgatory, for the knights who die dishonoured. In order to reclaim your honour, you must defeat the Fallen Guardians, who stand before your vindication. Only then, will you find your long awaited rest.

The Land of the Fallen is a cruel, and unforgiving realm; the damned lying in wait to shed your blood. Immerse yourself into the grim atmosphere of your bleak afterlife, as you traverse through the foggy wastes to find the Guardians. Take heed, for these lands are fraught with perilous traps and deadly combatants.
TRIAL BY COMBAT
Steel yourself with numerous combat maneuvers, allowing a larger depth of combat for approaching your challenges. Utilize different tools for overcoming the challenges the Land of the Fallen has to offer you, knight. Will you succumb to the will of the fallen, or charge gallantly into the fray and regain your honour?

It's clunky, imbalanced... at least it "works", but it's so unpolished it's unpleasant to play. Gameplay is just third person soulslike block/dodge/attack gameplay. It's a yawnfest. The game assets here look a lot better than the actual game they're assembled on... that doesn't mean this is necessarily an asset flip or a kitbash, because there's no proof. But what matters is that this has all the same terrible quality as asset flips, and at the end of the day that's one of the reasons people don't like asset flips, the quality is bad. That's a problem. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Let's talk about price and the value this represents for us gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you …
I don't know how harsh I should be about whats basically a very small scale studio project- and a free game at that- but dear God the controls are abysmal. Combos feel like swinging an ironing board with an anvil on the end, rolling does nothing, and the damage system operates on Castlevania logic where every single hit throws you across the room onto your ass regardless of how much damage it did. Couldn't even bring myself to beat the first boss, and sadly I don't want to bother.

Музыкальное сопровождение выше всяких похвал – идеально дополняет общую картину безысходности и отчаяния. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую монотонность боев в середине игры и не всегда очевидные подсказки. Однако, эти недостатки не критичны и не портят общего впечатления от игры.
