The Last Cube is a very underrated, extremely solid puzzle game, definitely one of my favorites I've played in recent years. It's pretty simple on the surface and not too hard overall, but it does have some headscratchers and bonus puzzles. The rules are simple: as a cube, you travel through a grid and can use stickers that are located on the ground or on walls to use certain powers as long as said sticker is on the top of the cube. Blue stickers allow the cube to rotate while standing still, for example, and purple stickers allow you to teleport up to three spaces. Most of the puzzles are about maneuvering your cube so the right sticker is on top of the cube at the right time to activate switches or traverse obstacles. There are a few interesting mechanics scattered throughout the 6 worlds and 24 levels in total (18 normal levels + 6 bonus levels), such as ice, lasers, mud, clones and more. The game's aesthetic is very clean, there is an attempt at cube lore and the soundtrack was a pleasant surprise as well. Honestly, this gets a thumbs up for a really nice quality of life feature: if you're close to a button that you need to touch with a particular face, you can push a button to do the straightforward wiggle to get there without having to do it yourself. That lets you save your thinking for the real puzzles.
Very nice classic puzzle game with a bunch of interesting mechanics. Challenges are a good addition, hard but fair.

Good puzzle game, better than I expected. It was sitting there on my wish list for a long time. Reviews were positive but the promo didn't look to exciting. Try this game and you will not regret.
