Isolation breaks an individual down to their core elements. Isolation in a small enclosed space, takes that person, and removes all hope. Even the notion of escape loses meaning after a while. Observe, while you explore the mysterious room, traveling through time using an antique radio, as you watch a man succumb to the room syndrome.

The Room Syndrome is a short puzzling experience. Unravel time travel and explore the room throughout the timeline. Find the solution to your escape, and solve the mystery of the room's melancholy resident.

As you explore, uncover the history and the future of the room's inhabitant, and discover their story. Be sensitive and observant, because your choices may have consequences, and the characters could react to your actions.

Being my first game published on Steam, I felt it was right to release it for free. It is a short and meaningful experience that I hope you will find fascinating.

Игра "The Room Syndrome" – это атмосферный и захватывающий детектив от первого лица, погружающий в мрачную историю, полную загадок и паранормальных явлений. Игроку предстоит исследовать детализированные локации, собирать улики и расшифровывать головоломки, чтобы раскрыть правду о таинственном синдроме, охватившем психиатрическую лечебницу. Сюжет держит в напряжении от начала и до конца, умело играя с саспенсом и психологическим триллером. Графика, хоть и не самая передовая, создает гнетущую и убедительную атмосферу заброшенного учреждения. Звуковое сопровождение отлично дополняет картинку, усиливая чувство тревоги и непредсказуемости. Геймплей представляет собой смесь исследования, решения головоломок и элементов хоррора. Головоломки, хоть и не всегда очевидны, достаточно логичны и доставляют удовольствие при решении. Недостатком можно назвать некоторую затянутость в середине игры и редкие баги. Однако, общее впечатление от игры положительное. "The Room Syndrome" – отличный выбор для любителей мрачных детективов и игр, заставляющих думать и переживать.
I believe everyone when they say it's a great game; maybe I'm just too dumb for it
It was very interesting (plot, game mech) but it's impossible to finish due to some bugs. I went on reddit and saw other people talking about this issue. What a pity! Still very unusual & interesting. Edit: I can't find the original subreddit that I found the first time! sorry! still, I was too harsh. Indeed it's a great game, and I suggest everyone to give it a try.
