A reimagination of the scandalous Victorian classic, the Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
Dorian has put his Gray past behind him. He is now Dorian Pink, a wholesome, wondrous, wrinkly old man, and is boyfriends with Basil Hallward. Alas, Dorian’s old friend, the Devil, kidnaps Basil to cook for a Feastival. Blasphemy!!! Now Dorian has to go back to his Gray past in Hell to rescue his one true love.
To find the Devil, go back to your young, plump, and tender self in Hell. You will make questionable dialog and life choices, such as what ingredient to put into a most important broth, or how you respond to people. What end will be upon you?
Meet familiar icons like Sybil Vane, Lord Henry Wotton, and the Duchess of Monmouth. But this time, they're a bit... different. Gain allies for your dangerous rescue mission. Perhaps... you may even procure the aid of some dogs, if you are lucky?
A gray/pink and dreamy hellscape entices you to sit back, relax. Meanwhile your boyfriend bathes in hell-exclusive BBQ marinade. Do take your sweet time.

"The Secret Life of Dorian Pink | Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "The Secret Life of Dorian Pink". The Secret Life of Dorian Pink is an LGBTQIA+ friendly high school literature club dropout fan-fiction about Oscar Wilde (no really). It was a complete and utter failure with only 4 players, presumably students writing papers on just how bad literature pretending to be a video game can get. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not The Secret Life of Dorian Pink, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "The Secret Life of Dorian Pink | Prologue" too. Usually adverts are intended to get people to pay money for a product, but in this case The Secret Life of Dorian Pink is also free, so I …3 found this helpful

I want to say while I agree with all the positive reviews that this game is charming, and engaging (the parts i got to play briefly) but I want to warn anyone playing more recently to know this game crashes. ALOT. And without any autosaving this means you have to redo everything again from the beginning. This made it feel pointless for me to try again without being able to gauge when and why the game crashed in order to avoid it happening again. It's too unpredictable. Thus, I unfortunately can't recommend a game (even a free one) that is, in its current state, basically broken and buggy in a way that ruins the enjoyment of the game itself. I LOVE this, but I am SO sad because it always glitches and I lose my progress. I would love to see a few bug fixes come out so I can appropriately finish!

loveee the artstyle and the mechanics are quite intuitive. i wish there was an option for windowed instead of full screen, and ability to save the game because i unfortunately crashed halfway into a game :(
