Codename CURE II

fun little game , killin zombies!!

CODENAME CURE: II is in almost all aspects, the exact same game as CODENAME CURE, just with every single aspect of the game done better. More of the same, except the more this time looks slightly better, the gunplay is smoother, the maps are larger/missions are longer, A VASTLY superior horde engine, a singleplayer mode with continuity etc. If you liked CODENAME CURE and are someone with reasonable expectations for a FREE game, you will LOVE CODENAME CURE: II. The Single Player mode is a very well done upgrade upon the base game. CODENAME CURE: II actually has a reason to exist with it's new maps, gunplay, horde engine, and gamemodes rather than purely being an update on the graphics engine. CODENAME CURE II has also added a form of progression where successful missions (as well as pickups throughout the mission) yield you Scrap, which you can then exchange for different weapons and operator (or weapon) skins. Games fun and a massive improvement over the original but a few things need fixing. Models and textures need tuning as some models clip with each other, grass on stairs in the new forest campground map, or the character models looking a bit rough. The gameplay is great and is a nice flow but personally think that the game could be improved in some places. The new boss enemy, The Disciple, has a spit attack I feel is used too frequently. You are unable to outrun the boss and have to face it head on but if your whole team is down and you're trying to make distance to run and shoot it at the same time it's just gonna spit at you while gaining distance which whittles your hp down to 0 eventually while every single attack slows you down. I feel like either the spit attack should be removed or the slow down needs to be nerfed to some capacity. The melee shove is nice but instantly killing one zombie in front of your crosshair isn't useful, it should work more like left 4 dead where it shoves zombies in front of you back to give you some distance while doing little to no damage to the zombies themselves. wayy too fun and reccomended to friends enjoy! similar off reference to both Killing Floor 2 & Left 4 Dead 2! :)

Gr8 for a free game but its not like original . Also UE5 means not as smooth also too dark at times. 8/10
