Guide Liza, a young vampire struggling with her morality and the supernatural world she has been pulled into. Will you retain your humanity or descend further into the horror you have become? Prepare to explore a hidden world of political intrigue, class conflict, and decadent corruption. Use the moonlit sky to plan your next feast and explore. Mingle among vampiric society and the humans who feed them. Uncover who can aid your new kin and whose only purpose is to be drained. Vampirism isn't just an unholy transformation of your body-- it also threatens to transform your mind. Will you choose to indulge your empathetic humanity or embrace your newfound nihilism? But to lure your next meal somewhere safe and secluded, you'll need to understand who they are and what they desire. A kind-hearted, alcoholic coachman? A fraying newlywed couple? rreally really good
Love this game. The characters, the writing, the powers you get as a vampire. Just all really well done. It feels cozy like a good book you tuck into and forget the world. Allocating stats to unlock dialogue choices was cool. I like feeling like I can specialize in one topic over another or know a bit about everything. I felt invested in the characters I liked. Sympathized with others. I accidentally overfed on one of the side characters causing their demise early on and every time I heard her name going forward I felt awful. Your choices actually feel like they matter as they do impact your game. Seems to have some replay value as well since you can choose different things to say or have different options in dealing with things. Overall, a very well done Indie game that just goes to show, you don't need to be a Triple A game from a major company to be good.
I completed a playthrough on the Switch and had to get this game on my PC. It is one of my absolute favourites and I just love everything about it. The pacing, the artwork, the storytelling is all so well done and beautiful. The team responsible for this masterpiece are all lovely as well. After emailing my praises and desire for the Cabernet shirt to be re-released, they made it happen for me and so many others that love this game. Incredible game, incredible people behind it. They deserve all of the recognition and more <3 THANK YOU!

Lovely game, I hope there is a sequel and that more narrative RPGs like this one pop up! I personally did not experience any of the bugs in the other reviews - maybe they've been fixed, or I was lucky. Would recommend to fans of rpgs without combat, where dialogue choices and resource management (e.g. daily action points) are the main gameplay mechanic. Lots of exploration, great characters and voice acting as well.
