Based on a short story by H. P. Lovecraft, which I read after playing the game. The main characters are thieves who become interested in the titular terrible old man because of his supposed riches. Therefore, they attempt to rob him in the dead of night. The graphic style is interesting: it's hand-drawn, but the characters' faces move in brief animations. It's a little unsettling. Despite being free, which I respect and appreciate, the narrative is very short, perhaps aiming not to extend the original story too much, but because of this, there wasn't enough room for engagement or exploration of the characters or the horror. You end up intrigued by a story that doesn't develop. Might be worth playing only for its short length and because it's free. 6/10.
