About Curse of the Old Gods
A mysterious adventure with challenging puzzles follows a suspenseful story of Prophecies, Artifacts and Old Gods.
FBI Agent Moreton is called to a murder scene at the Greenich Museum in New York. The grand opening of the new exhibition on African cults is just around the corner as the nightwatchman was brutally mauled with a flashlight. Not everyone is content with a fed walking around and asking questions. Through layers of secrecy Moreton discovers that there's is way more at stake than the museum's reputation. Ancient evil stirs in light slumber.

Free point-and-click adventure. Graphics are nothing to write home about, intentionally pixelated and blurry to create an old-school look, but they're different than the usual. I think there would have been a lot of pixel hunting without the convenient hotspot indicator. Briefcase combination lock was very unfair and I would not have gotten it without the guide. The rest was decent. A bit aggravating at the end as it's easy to not have the required item for the optimal ending.13 found this helpful
Free lovecraftian point and click game, somewhat similar in presentiation to the old 80:s macventures games (Shadowgate, Uninvited, Deja Vu) with a fairly accurate representation to how digitized graphics looked in games from the late 80:s and early 90:s. Fairly short with three endings (even if two are basically the same bad ending, just two ways to get there) and the UI is cumbersome. The graphics also makes it so that it's sometimes impossible to know what you are looking at, and without the hightlight button for interactive spots, then theis would probably have been barely playable. It's enjoyable enough that I think I will pick up the recent sequel. Had it not been free, I would only recomend to people with a high jank tolerance level. Beeing free, you can play and decide for yourself if you want to stick with it.3 found this helpful

An excellent brief free adventure game. Has a reasonably entertaining plot and most of the puzzles are not obtuse.
Nice littel old school point & click advanture. Quite short and be warned: the graphic style may be not for everyone. I liked it though.
