About The Turdler

Have you ever wanted to go back and re-live life as a toddler? Here is your chance to be The Turdler you always knew you could be in this crude VR title that throws you the reins of mass destruction.

Destroy each room with gusto as you hurl toys and other household goodies at your parents favorite knick-knacks and trinkets, watching them explode to your delight. If that's not satisfactory, drop some dookies on the ground and fling them around like the naughty little rascal I know you can be.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
So I did not buy this game individually. I got it as part of a cheap VR bundle. I was not excited to play this game but it's being listed on the first page of the Steam VR sales list for some reason. I thought I may as well go check it out, especially since it doesn't currently have any negative reviews. Long story short, this game sucks. There's almost no redeeming value. You throw stuff & break stuff. You lay dueces. And you get to shoot a toy gun at a museum. And there's a global leaderboard. Sadly, if you're in the top 5 that just means you are a horrible person.
Positives
+ it works on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers + the game looks and plays just like the screenshots / video on the store page
Negatives
- Experienced everything the game had in 10 minutes - those are 10 minutes of my life I will never get back - writing this review is more fun than the actual game - poor graphics - wonky throwing mechanics - clunky UI - using a poor kid as part of the cover art for this game Rate 3/10. It's bad. It's not so bad it's good, it's just bad. I'm just glad I got it as part of a bundle …

Yes, the Turdler. It has a price tag of $3 and is developed by BucketShop Software. As the name suggests, it does involve a fecal flinging toddler. Throughout this game, you play as a hellspawn bent on making the life of your parents miserable. Your journey includes breaking everything from tv’s to glasses to mirrors. It reminded me a lot of the previously reviewed Catlateral Damage in which it’s the same plot except you play the game as a cat. The game consists of 3 stages which are areas of the house and the finale is literally defecating at your feet and throwing said crap through a hoop. Considering the executable on Steam is named TheToddler rather than the Turdler, I believe a last minute decision was to put in the finale of the game and rename the whole title. The game features Steam Achivements which include drop 1 dookie, drop 50 dookies, drop 100 — ah, you get the point. Impressively, this was playable out of the box and did feature a very simple tutorial. There was bugs such as baseballs going through walls but nothing crib shattering. Final grade is 5 out of 10.
