Three Kingdoms : Alias

Gave this a shot because it's so highly rated, but I cannot for the life of me see the appeal of this. Even if it's early access, I don't see a way for this gameplay loop to ever be interesting. Most, if not all aspects of the UI are rubbish, which I also think looks terribly misplaced in this game. Text doesn't fit and gets smeared across lines or cut off. Rows don't fit, meaning you have to scroll pretty much everything (horizontally, with your mouse) to get to relevant information. There is no search function, which I imagine will get annoying once you've conquered half of China. I just want to hammer this point again. I do not like the UI. In games like this, the UI is everything. And maybe I'm missing something, but the entire alias thing, and having to 'investigate' each and every officer to get to know them multiple times is just a hassle. There's potential in having conversations with your officers, I agree. However, if you're going to go that route, at least make it in-depth rather than five lines of random, basic, repeating dialogue. Bear in mind, there are hundreds of characters. Quantity of quality. Perhaps this should only be expanded with your closest staff. I dunno…

概念是蠻有趣的。 可是暫時遊戲性上還是有一點點缺憾。 優點: - 開局有隨機性，手選5名良將，可以有重玩性 - 發現著名將軍真名時，會有一小段相關記載，這蠻開心的 - 管理關係差的武將這有趣 - 後期可以靠外交加速也算是優點 缺點: - 開局資源極其有限，若不是選個萬能君主，內政發展會是一個地獄 - 前期苦惱人少，後期苦惱人多職位少。然後後來有些武將就是高忠誠也會下野。 - 除了可以組成「組合」的武將、以及發掘技能之外，其實探究誰是誰好像沒有太大必要 - 名聲系統是有一點點糟糕，連著前面的下野問題，你把弱武將革職減名聲，斬掉減名聲，捉拿並俘虜敵將減名聲 - 運輸、管理士兵是十分糟糕 - 那大臣去打仗是會令內政瞬間停頓 ...... 結論:是一隻概念蠻有趣但部份遊戲設計上有些許反人類的潛力作。

While the strategic depth might feel a bit light, the fun of getting to know each officer—almost as if testing your own knowledge of the Three Kingdoms—is more than worth the price. Plus, the scene when you discover a named general is simple yet so satisfying that it makes you slap your knee. Highly recommended!

Fun, niche game for fans of the novel or long time fans of other Three Kingdoms games.

I love Chinese history and games and I am exciting to play this game but I hope the gameplay in future will be interesting and wide to enjoy the content not just tons of clicks.
