Bitter-sweet cozy puzzle game. It works without VR, but it is definitely made for VR in the first place.3 found this helpful
Easy recommendation for this one. I thought it was a nice puzzle game but it is actually an emotional journey. Please play it.1 found this helpful
I played it without VR, using a Keyboard and Mouse. It felt a little strange at first, but I got used to it quickly. Tin Hearts is a hidden gem. It’s beautifully crafted, the level design is cute and charming, the puzzles aren’t too challenging but still encourage you to think ahead and make plans, new tools and mechanics are introduced at just the right time in a very pleasant way and there’s always something to do, discover or try out. The pleasant music creeps into your ears and stays there without becoming annoying. And last but not least, it’s a touching story. When I wrote the review, I had just finished Chapter 1, but I was already hooked1 found this helpful
This game is much more fun then I expected. (I'm only two hours in, just discovered cannon control and can only speak for so far.) Firstly, really great setting, I love playing games where you're "toy-sized". Visuals are stunning as well, without being demanding. The rooms/environments look really great, they feel alive and have a lot of character. It shows that it was made with alot of attention to detail. Gameplay at surface appear to be a bit simple, but actually is engaging, interesting and slowly but steadily throws you more challenges, and tools at you to solve them with. I played normally (non-VR), have no remarks about that. Used a controller, no complaints about that either.1 found this helpful
Tin Hearts, developed by Rogue Sun and published by Wired Productions, is a narrative-driven puzzle adventure that blends inventive mechanics with an emotionally resonant story set in a whimsical, alternate-Victorian world. At its core, the game revolves around guiding a group of wind-up tin soldiers through increasingly elaborate environments, but beneath this charming premise lies a heartfelt tale about invention, family, ambition, and regret. Rather than presenting puzzles as isolated challenges, Tin Hearts weaves them directly into the fabric of its storytelling, transforming each room and contraption into a fragment of a larger, deeply personal narrative. The gameplay draws inspiration from classic indirect-control puzzle games, evoking comparisons to Lemmings in structure while carving out its own identity through first-person exploration and environmental interaction. The tin soldiers march forward automatically once activated, and players must manipulate the environment to ensure their safe passage to the exit. This involves placing directional objects such as toy drums to change their path, using cannons to launch them across gaps, deploying fans to alter trajectories, or…1 found this helpful
Amazing idea, game looks cute and pretty, unfortunately controls are awful, what a pain in the arse, PC, controllers, VR works just so bad.
