How has this Game been out over 2 years and only gotten 4 Steam User Reviews!? It's good, play it.6 found this helpful
It's not bad but definitely has some problems. The platforming is really solid and has tight controls, isn't slippery at all. Sometimes the camera can be finnicky and screw you over but its less often than you'd expect in a 3d game. The power jump and power dash are way too problematic and not well designed. If you jump .5 seconds after a dash you get an extra free jump that you don't get right after, but its not always consistent and never properly explained. Also after a power jump you don't get a second jump nor a dash for no apparent reason at all. The game is tough, but relatively fair except for a few levels and the final boss. The game is more puzzle than platformer, which can be a bit of a letdown. You have to roll a bunch of balls into holes to finish levels, which can be finnicky bc youre a rolling ball and theyre rolling balls, which don't really mesh sometimes. Also nobody likes an escort mission. There are some levels where there are balls but you get to the end and just push them in, and these levels are much more fun. Its also kind of lame each level is just a bunch of random floating platforms in air, making the game feel less like a real world and more like an o…1 found this helpful
seems like a good game but unfortunately its not for me. i find it frustrating trying to push a ball around in video games, i think that is the majority of this one
I have mixed feelings on Tin & Kuna, but I would ultimately recommend this to someone after a very specific 3D platformer experience. For most players, going for 100% completion will immediately present where the obvious cracks are in this game. It's a course clear game with (mostly) required collectables and optional hitless and speedrun challenges, all great things on paper. The problem is that there's a handful of baffling design choices and technical issues which can really get in the way of the enjoyment of these, and I imagine they lead to most not sticking with the game long enough to see it through to the credits. At times the game can be unreasonably difficult or unforgiving, and at other times it becomes more tedious than enjoyable. The pacing of levels can also vary significantly over the full 40 levels on offer, and some people may not enjoy the slower style puzzle platformer levels as they start to creep in, particularly when your goal is not always completely clear. The quality of levels is also really hurt by trying to experience everything the game has to offer, but any new player would have no way of knowing this. All of that being said, I purchased this with th…
Very underrated, under-purchased, and under-reviewed game. Lots of fun as a puzzle platformer with a limited but very creative suite of movement options. Had a lot of fun figuring out the puzzles and doing the time trials. I love finding unintended ways to plow through levels, and this game allowed that excellently. The game did have a little glitchiness with the camera flashing, the switch port loaded very slowly (which forced me to buy the Steam version), and parts of the game didn't feel fully finished or flushed out (Bosses were less interactive than the rest, Level 11 seemed to have no intended route to completion)
Nightmare of a game. To say the least this game was not fun and honestly one of the most stressful games I've played in recent memory. It lures you in a cutesy easy platforming experience then the difficulty gets cranked up which normally would be oaky but this game isn't fun enough or engaging enough to justify the increased difficulty. I didn't want to play it. The only reason I finished was for strictly personal reasons. The levels themselves are poorly designed and optimized with random assets and platforms placed seemingly at random. The fact that if you lose all your health points, you have to start from the beginning of the level was an awful idea for the same reason I stated which is the game neither fun enough or good enough justify having the player repeat each over and over again until they figure out the proper platforming and timing.
