About TinyKeep

In TinyKeep players will embrace the role of a hopeless prisoner held deep in a forgotten dungeon who one day wakes up to find themselves mysteriously released. Their savior is nowhere to be seen, but the cell door is broken and ajar, tempting them with the sweet scent of freedom. With nothing but a flickering lantern and a strange letter left behind by their in-mate, they must venture into the darkness and escape TinyKeep!

Lure monsters into traps, knock over fire torches to set the dungeon alight and set prisoners free to help you on your way. Enemies will work together in groups to hunt you down, and some will flee from threats. You can also take advantage of monster rivalries and lead them against each other, while you wait behind a corner as the resulting chaos ensues. There are many ways to survive in TinyKeep.

TinyKeep, developed by Phigames and published by Digital Tribe, is an action roguelike that strips the genre down to a lean, survival-focused experience built around improvisation and environmental awareness. Set within a procedurally generated dungeon that functions more like a prison than a traditional fantasy labyrinth, the game challenges players to escape rather than conquer. You begin each run with minimal equipment and little direction, forced to adapt quickly as the dungeon reveals its dangers. It’s a design that prioritizes tension and unpredictability, even if it comes at the cost of long-term depth. The core gameplay loop is centered on exploration, scavenging, and survival. Players navigate through interconnected rooms in search of weapons, shields, and the keys needed to progress, all while avoiding or confronting enemies that can quickly overwhelm an unprepared character. Combat is deliberately simple, built around a small set of actions such as attacking, blocking, and positioning. This simplicity makes the game easy to understand, but it also means that encounters rely heavily on timing and awareness rather than varied mechanics. Early runs feel intense and uncerta…

A linear based dungeon crawler with roguelike elements. Overall it was a nice 4 hours, I completed the game on my third character and I enjoyed the game. Its important to remember that it is extremely linear and most people are probably satisfied with playing it once to completion and then setting it down. While it is a randomized dungeon, all the rooms are similar and it really just changes the placement of idle rooms rather then introducing interesting mechanics through randomization. Id consider this a worthwhile purchase at 50-75% discount. My biggest gripe was that it felt insanely tedious to collect gold from every enemy, especially when other bodies rag dolled preventing you from moving around the room easily. I absolutely wish that this game had a "Magnetize" perk that would draw all coins in the area to your character. Would make it infinitely more fun and engaging. Another annoyance factor was having to spam left click to attack, I wish you could auto attack while holding down left click. I had to set up a hotkey for that in a separate program.
