Today Is My Birthday

If you're seeing the reviews saying this is somehow a good game and believe to buy it: Don't. I did, it's one of the worst if not THE worst horror game i've ever played. Story is janky (Who the ♥♥♥♥ enters a forbidden playground because their father is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 6 feet deep), optimization is straight up non-existant, animation is one of the worst pieces to ever exist, maps are really bad except one, characters doesn't stay with you, they look like the 4 dudes at the back of the class got hit by the nuke in chernobyl and decided to become ghouls from Fallout for no reason at all. Game tries to be Penumbra with The Hills Have Eyes, instead becomes a free college clown in a 7yos party Don't play this ♥♥♥♥ (I got both endings, they don't make sense at all)

Pretty good horror game with puzzle elements set in a forest and amusement park. Its indie, so it has bugs, but nothing game breaking. I didn't beat the game in 5 hours.

Today Is My Birthday is sadly a disappointing and kind of bad horror, adventure game, so let’s get into the story. A young photographer named Thomas is depressed, today is his birthday, normally a birthday is supposed to be a joyous celebration. Unfortunately he has no reason to celebrate his father having passed not too long ago and not really having anyone to confide in. So to cheer himself up he decides to go to wonder Park a theme park his dad used to take him on his birthday, even though the park has been closed for some time due to earthquakes, Thomas wants to go there just to snap some pictures and remember the good old days, but the moment he steps into the park he's going to have a birthday he'll never forget. The likes, for the most part the story is pretty good, it has a good B horror movie charm to it, like if you watched old horror movies you can definitely see the influences of it from crazy cultists, cannibals and a deranged doctor, to even killer dolls it was quite good, although there were some problems with it that I will get to in the dislikes. The opening segment was good as it told everything we needed to know about Thomas and why he was going to the spook…

The games strength is in the visual representation. The story is a mess and the gameplay is janky. It's on sale for a buck so for a dollar it's worth a playthrough which will net you about 4 hours but for 9.99 just pass.

Today I bought the game in which you need a skill to pick up an item, and to pull a lever you need a skill tree. The game visually looks great, but if the developer did a quality check, then he has very strange criteria what is for sale and what is evidently unfinished project,and this game is exactly that. (c'mon pick that bloody battery !!!)...easy mode is playable, but in general such poorly optimized game cannot cost 8 euros.
