About ToHeart
The late-’90s landmark visual novel from AQUAPLUS is back and fully remastered!

Discover the “heartful love comedy” that has captivated Japanese hearts for over a decade!
Spring is almost here!
Strolling down a street paved with pastel tiles, the sun warms my back as pigeons flock by the roadside. Amid this everyday scenery, it’s another ordinary morning, with just a soft whisper of spring on the wind.
“It’s a little warmer again today, huh?” Akari pipes up as she turns her eyes to me, her bangs swaying gently in the breeze. “I guess winter’s over.”
“I guess it is,” I answer offhandedly, and Akari giggles. I don’t know why.
ToHeart is a “heartful,” heartfelt, and comedic multiple-ending visual novel.
The protagonist is an utterly ordinary young man, but his friends Akari, Masashi, and Shiho make every day a happy one.
As winter turns to spring and March turns to April, the wind also carries a whisper of love.

- 3D scenes and animations!
- Updated art in full HD, with modern Windows support!
- Your choice of classic or all-new voiceovers!
- English & Chinese in addition to Japanese!

Discover the “heartful love comedy” that has captivated Japanese hearts for over a decade!

for a remake of a classic visual novel, it is in desperate need of some MAJOR quality of life improvements. You can't skip scene transitions and there are MANY. You'll spend half a play session looking at screen transitions...just to get three minutes of a new scene. I like everything about it outside of that but it seriously makes it incredibly tedious14 found this helpful
To preface it: The steam deck verified status is technically correct. If you reduce the quality, the game runs at a steady 30 fps on deck. The visuals are mostly blurry and do not look particularly good on deck. The VA work is fairly solid, with access to both the original VA and the updated ones. The presentation for key scenes is nice, however the animations looping are pretty mediocre in how few there is. Fun and simple, a keystone for visual novels to come after. Aquaplus foray into 3D was a very mixed bag. For the price, you could do much worse.1 found this helpful
yep 👍 i mean cmon its an aquaplus classic 3d remaster also get the fan mod if ur having graphical issues it helps for lower end pc anyway multi best girl 🧹 always offer headpats
Had to go to school on a Saturday and didn't even get to go on the school trip. Multi is my silly little clumsy adorable daughter. I have played a few times now and enjoyed it with some sweet moments and I have liked all the characters I have spent time with so far, namely Chiho, Multi, Masashi and Akari. I appreciated the legacy voice acting which I used for my Shiho play. As others have pointed out the transitions and time taken up are clearly an annoyance for some, I wonder if they were taken out however the game might feel very different as the word count feels pretty light to me. Still I enjoyed my time and I will at some point play the other routes that's why I'm giving it a positive recommend.
i really liked the characters and the game itself, but the lack of quality of life features makes it really... not fun to do different routes :( i do not think i can recommend this remake, but please check out the original if you can!
