Tools Up! Ultimate Edition

Before you get this game, you should definitely know that Party mode is VERY difficult to complete due to the save file constantly forgetting all progress. There is an achievement for completing party mode. So although I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign mode, I'm not sure it's worth the heartache of constantly losing save data. I can only post a review if I answer the "Do you recommend this game?" question so I guess I will have to say No.

Tools Up! Ultimate Edition, developed by The Knights of Unity and published by Untold Tales and Gamersky Games, takes a simple premise—renovating apartments—and turns it into a fast-paced cooperative challenge built around coordination, communication, and controlled chaos. The gameplay loop is straightforward in concept but increasingly complex in execution. Each level presents players with a blueprint outlining renovation tasks such as painting walls, removing flooring, cleaning up messes, and installing new materials. So-so game. Like Moving out and similar, but with much less good humor, and worse gameplay. It starts somewhat fun, like all such games. We played it split coop (remote play) and it even allows up to 4 people to play on one keyboard, unlike games like Moving out. But there's almost no good humor in it, the music tends to get abnoxtious as it's repetitive, and the game itself is very repetitive. It starts quite hard - the timer is tight even for the first level, which is not something you expect, when you try to learn the controls and the game in general. The worst thing of this game is the hitbox - pretty easy to spill the paint or garbage or to grab the bucket instead of the garbage when cleaning. Actually - the second worst. You cant really set your keys - you play with whatever they gave you. After completing 6-7 levels, it's getting borring because of repetition. I played Moving out, which is also repetitive, but they implement plenty of new levels and obstacles to make it diverse enough + the good humor all around and the fun extra challanges. Ok game for couch coop if you get it on sale. Good for all ages and family play, but not a game where you'd invest 20+ hours and no…
