Tower! Simulator 3

I have bought this game in the Steam Summer Sale for half off, which came to 25 euros. Like many of the reviews posted before me, I feel like this should be the base price for this game. The AI is fine, but the listening part is terrible. If you have the fake names, make sure the system can listen to these names. I have come into really bad situations because they didn't listen. This is basically the base functionality for this game, and it doesn't work properly. The extra DLCs are incredibly expensive as well. For what is basically just AI map plotting.

ya know for me its a mix review i cant recommend but i also could they need a better ai listening something kinda like BATC uses in this you have to use perfect phraseology and if your even slightly off it doesn't work the absolute worst part about this game is everything is locked behind a paywall want IRL carriers yea you can go into the files and do it that way if not 45 more dollars for that each airport is 15+ thank god i got this game on discount or i would have say its the biggest waste of money on a game I've ever spent with the massive pay wall i would expect this game to be significantly better than it is $60 for this game is not worth it at all only buy if its on sale

Game has so much potential but falls short due to the main feature of the game falling very short. The voice features are extremely hit or miss, and it's usually a miss. You are tasked with being quick and efficient with your ATC directions, but punished due to the game constantly mishearing your words, or just ignoring them completely. The new AI update just gave us low-effort AI voices, and does not help the actual voice detection. When saying "Taxi to, and hold short of runway 2L" The game hears "Taxi to apron " and nothing else. It listens only for one word at a time in the right order, instead of the entire phrase or sentence, in order to predict what you are saying. This game seems to be more focused on adding paid content and ai garbage instead of fixing the core mechanic of the game. Hopefully it will improve, but with how long this game has been out now, I very much doubt it.

I came from Tower3d pro for the updated airports and flight schedules and found that the speech recognition is much much faster on tower 3D pro. It isnt even worth the 30$ on sale price with the amount of bugs and voicing issues. My personal complaint highlights include - Callsign grouping will register things such as Fifty-nine (59) as Fifty Niner (509) - 2-7 second delay between calling aircraft and it being registered by the game making it faster to just click everything or needing to constantly pause at airports like KLAX to salvo off the commands before unpausing it. - Optimization is awful, zooming in will cause my framerate to go from 40 to 20 and I require it just to look at the atc screens. - KRDU's runway 14 causes any inbound aircraft to get confused upon landing and refuse to taxiback. - Aircraft will not hold short properly at intersections causing 2 of them to get stuck. Please for the love of god make the speech detection faster. That is my biggest gripe and ruins both immersion and gameplay

The only thing I would complain is that the voice recognition is super sensitive to ambient noise for all three of the options. Fun game though, a little stressful with busier airports.

First of all: with the new AI recog the sim is very good. The AI is not the best but its better thaan the generic recognition system of the game. One of my favorite Airports is EDDH (for those not into the ICAO language -> its Hamburg) Hamurg is a "small" and good managible airport which can be operated alone. There are some things that bother me quit a bit. First at this Airport are three Taxiways called Z1Blueline, Z1 and Z1Orange and as many people know in real life those were used to seperate medium sized aircrafts. This function is not applicable for that airport in this ATC Sim. For example when you have an Aircraft comming to the Terminal (Arrival) and you have another one as Departure the best option is to seperate them as follows: one is pushing onto orange line and the other is taxiing on the blueline. That is not possible because the game things that those two Aircrafts won't fit but in reallife this is common use. Furthermore to let Traffic taxi onto the blueline you need to say "Taxi via Z1 Bravo" which is phraseology wise not correct! It needs to be "Taxi via Z1 Blueline". Also and that mechanic would be perfect... Is there an option to push aircrafts on specific taxi…
